Good deal Sass. We need to look into getting peeps to paint the interior of our home too. And then I want to have wall to wall carpeting put down over the not so great looking hardwood floors. I prefer nice cushiony carpet to walk on. Easier to take care of too.

Sassy
04-24-2007, 10:10 PM
Except that I only use Behr paint! ...and it's spendy at $25/gallon (I need 9) This is just for ceiling in the entry, kitchen/dining/living and downstairs hall and the living room/dining room walls and the entry and hall downstairs (of course, their is no "CUTOFF" point! Ha! SO it ALL has to be done. The two bedrooms, laundry room, kitchen and bathroom are already painted by yours truly. I have to get the paint tomorrow as it is the last day Home Depot has a rebate for 25% off five gallons.

I told her I would help too and her friend (my boss) will also help so at $10 an hour I think it's a great deal! Of course, I get the job of moving everything out of the way and filling holes in the wall with spackle. LOL!

Yep...and back AGAIN! The COLOR is different even though it says it isn't.

Oh pretty good although looks like things ain't working out down here in San Antone like we thought they would and we'll likely be moving back to Denver when our lease is up in Oct. What really sucks down here is that they don't even have the NFL channel, just ESPiN, so I could'nt even watch the last of the reg season last year. We'll miss being around the grandkids, but our daughter has things handled pretty well. I'm looking forward to getting back to Denver, and if I get my old job back, I might even be able to afford to get to a game to two this year.

It was late in the fourth quarter and Jackson had recovered a fumble near the Oakland bench to clinch a 30-7 Denver victory. That's when he said it. The most famous four words in Broncos history before "This one's for John."

"It's over, fat man!" Jackson, a Pro Bowl linebacker, screamed to Madden, who was standing 10 feet away at the time. Not that he had to be to catch Jackson's drift.

"It was totally spontaneous," Jackson said. "It was done in the heat of battle. After struggling with the Raiders for a number of years, and seeing that we were not only going to beat them but beat them soundly, all those things had welled up inside me. It just came out. I just looked at him and screamed. I can still see the look of shock and surprise on his face."

We women have a way of saying hurtful things when we are hurting! That is a little extreme for you just moving, but try not to take it personally. It was probably said in the heat of the moment for her and she probably didn't mean it to come out as it did. Unless she's just heartless. Then, all bets are off.

Best advice to give! Except you forgot one. Don't be a pig. That's a big one for me. I can't stand men that are pigs. And I don't mean messy either, I just mean men who can't go five minutes without a nasty sexual comment coming out of their mouths. There are a few of those over at the forums.. lol.

Yeah, looking back, Freddy is definitely comical. But, at 16 or 17 (can't quite remember how old I was) it was all about the lights being out, the horror flick and playing evil jokes on each other to try and scare someone else more than you were scared (and for me, I was always easily scared).
