Shocking.

Bummer, I was excited to see him play for 2 quarters before going out again.

We need a more stable option at RT. As good as Harris CAN be, if he doesn't see the field enough to be a consistent contributor this team may need to move on.

Agree Harris while a solid techincal player just gets inured too often and takes too long to get right again. Frequent injuries plus slow healing = Not For Long

I'll be shocked if we don't look for a full-time replacement for Harris this off-season.

I was asking someone this past weekend about that.

Do you look in the draft for a top notch RT next year?

Great news about Kup.

It'll also be nice to have Harris back for several plays before he goes out again.

Well we better have graham planted right beside Beadles the whole game or it will be ugly. Did you see what Mathis did to the NYGs right tackle all game last week?

Harris wasn't supposed to be back for 2-3 weeks anyway. I'd rather rest him this week and get him right for the rest of the season anyway.

Considering Beadels might be Harris's replacement, we might as well get used to him being out.

Harris injury is just one of those things that's nobody's fault. The RB plowing through the hole just fell forward into the back of Harris's legs as Harris was trying to block. What ticked me off about the whole thing was I knew Harris was hurt and the broadcast morons just completely ignored the injury. They said nada about it the rest of the game...

He needs to heal up and get back out on the field. The running game really needs him. As for Beadles, I guess this is why McD drafted the kid....

What the hell you think Zane Beadles is here for?

2nd rounder starting at RT in place of Harris. Was a standout LT in college and showed a major step forward from week one to week two.

This is why we drafted Beadles. He's got a high football IQ and a versatile skill set. He was going to find a home at guard or tackle depending on our needs. Right now that is looking like tackle.

In the long term, I don't think Beadles is the answer at tackle, I do think he'll play at Guard for many years.

I have a feeling he might play more tackle this season than Harris though :(

Beatles in only gonna get better with reps guys...this guy showed a big improvement from week one to week two. Have a little confidence, he has to play against the best to learn how to defeat the best and become the best. I have a lot of confidence in this guy...maybe that is why I am spewing "the best" thing. lol

We probably have the one best young oline in the league and you want to draft a RT when Harris is IMO our best OL ... He is for sure our best Run Blocker ! tell poopsie to lighten the **** up we drafted Zane Beadles to be depth and a RG Stanley Daniels just dropped into our laps.

We got real problems on the Dside of the ball .time to draft there all the way !!!

Harris just might be the best run block RT in the league . you guys need some chill pills dip ****s:rofl:

And probably make it worse, turning it into a chronic issue that never fully gets better and ends his career with unfulfilled potential years short.

Marshall's entire problem with the Broncos medical staff started under Shanahan. Shanahan is the coach who watched Cutler drop 30 pounds in a season and didn't question sending him out there. Shanahan is the guy who not only had Al Wilson playing when he couldn't lift his arms past his shoulders, he then tried to trade him before word got out.

I could go on, but I digress. At some point ethics and the long term benefit for the team intersect. Shanahan was often completely oblivious to that fact and it is a major reason why his teams over the last several years finished like ****. He refused to toughen guys up in the pre-season and then he refused to let guys truly heal, sending them out as soon as physically able despite playing at something far below 100%.

Hopefully this will be an opportunity for someone alse to step in and claim the RT position.
Zane Beadles could be the one. The guy spent most of the pre-season at RG and LT; oddly enough, he hasn't played the left side yet during the season, IIRC...

Beadles is a huge asset for us in the OL. I'd like to see him settle in just one position, knowing that he can pretty much play the whole line -aside from center, perhaps-

Well, he managed the same record as him despite having a harder schedule and what most considered a "less talented" team. Draw your own conclusions. Not every coach can find himself with a HoF QB on his roster from Year 1.

its funny how some want it both ways
If Josh really is an idiot talent evaluator and just gives away his best players like some say, then he must be a better coach than Shanny because he matched his latest record with this roster that was stripped of talent from Josh's stupid personel decisions

I didn't say there was less talent. The pundits and people like dragster did. If they're right, and McD had the same exact record as Shanahan did the year before, wouldn't that speak volumes about his ability as a coach?

Shanahan did good things for the Broncos in the past. However, in his last years, he hurt the team a hell of a lot more than helped it. And we're still feeling the effects of his ****ups.

I wasnt criticizing you, I was also referring to the people who keep harping on Josh for "giving away probowlers".
if that is true that he trades away his best players, then it means he is a better coach than Shanny since he matched his record

I was just referring to the people who bag on Josh but dont stop and think about what they are really saying
