Wasn't a touchdown, the ball came out of his hand as he stood up and bounced off the ground.

Stupid ****ing refs!

Major props to Kubiak on beating his old mentor again. I generally pull for Shanny and will do so most of this year, but I loved seeing missed field goal/time out trick work against our old beloved coach. It was a great game.

I love Houston winning. They were my pick to surprise this year, although I don't know that it's really a surprise.

Icing the kicker works almost every time. I don't get it. It's like buying flowers for my wife. I've quit trying to understand how it works. It just ****ing works.

Was thinking the same thing.

A lil bit of Deja-vu, too. Seeing all those former players/coaches on both sidelines. Not to mention the amount of sprint options each team ran.

The game was like watching two brothers in a fist fight.

That was great. Still not sure about his decision to punt on the first OT possession instead of trying a 52 yarder. I can see how if they nailed them inside the 10 it could have looked good, but given how OT tends to go it seems like you want to lean toward being aggressive and taking a better than 50% shot at the win when you have it.

Maybe. But, considering Shanahan did just that and his kicker missed (after the Kubiak Timeout), hard to knock Kube's decision.

the biggest, most frustrating thing ill never miss about shanahan: teams coming out flat in the 2nd half

i complained about it for 2 years here, hed get a lead in the first, take his foot off the gas, and then lose the game.

Both teams did enough to deserve the win. Washington failing to do anything in the second half really hurt, though

Shanahan's face after the timeout was classic. That was a fun game to watch for Broncos fans.
