Alright. Who you got this week? I had a humbling 6 wins, 5 losses, and 1 no action tie last week, so looking for a little more than barely covering the vig this week!

Unfortunately, this week seems really tricky with a lot of large spreads and underdog home teams.

Titans(Tennessee) -5 (-105)
Texans(Houston)
Redskins(Washington) 09/19/10(16:20 ET)
Redskins(Washington) +3 (-120)

I think my favorite best is KC... which makes me feel dirty betting on them.

I think KC losses by two TDs at least.

I took Cleveland and Denver on a two teamer as my locks for this week.

OK I don't gamble on games but I would like to know what this means.

+2.0 does this mean they will win by 2 points ? and if so how do you win by half a point ?

THanks

It's the line...

KC +2 means KC gets 2 points... it means even if they lose by 1, you win.

Minnesota -5.5 means they have to win by 6 or more or you lose.

Yep, when the books want no pushes, they tag the .5 on it.

As for games, I haven't jumped on anything. I would definitely say the KC game SHOULD be the biggest lock, in my opinion. Cleveland didn't do well last week and, last I saw, Delhomme was hurt.

KC is up to +3... that kinda movement scares me.

By the way, how the heck do you even begin to consider a game like Buffalo? 14 points? Who actually says "there's no way they beat them by 13 or less" in that scenario? A 12 point win for the Pack would feel just as good as a 15 point win. I wouldn't touch that with stimulus money and we know that's not even real money...

Sportsbook.com has a scroll up top that shows betting trends.

"86% of the action is on Seattle to win straight up"

Sigh...

Haha, I know right?

I refuse to do less than 12 teams and I hated the other 4 games even more than that one.

I'll be rooting as usual but there's no way I put real world $$ on the Broncos. Until they learn to quit collapsing, and while Seattle is whooping on teams like they did last week, it takes faith or an overflowing bank account to justify it.

I learned my lesson on that in 2005 AFCCG.

lol KC is a BAD team. I don't know why everyone has a hard on for them.

KC is a horrible passing team. I take their run game over Cleveland's. Cribbs is the only weapon Cleveland has.

It's a slim margin of difference makers but KC has a couple guys who can take it to the house and a "not the worst in the league" running game. I'll take that over a team Seneca Wallace could be leading.

And it's not a solid bet either way. I haven't put any money on anything yet. Just said that's my favorite, I think.

I think because they beat the hell out of SD last did it, I scared of that action honestly, hell im scared of the broncos game, just dont know what we got yet! College football is what I enjoy betting on and have done pretty good so far this week.

Any thought on the IOWA/AZ game tonight, Iowa getting 2 points. Im thinking its a lock for Iowa not sure though. I know AZ has a heck of an offense, but I also know Iowa has a good Defense

Yow... that one had to hurt.

I always avoid games where the double heartbreak (of losing the game and money) would be too much. That seems like one of those occasions.

I actually put money on Denver to win the superbowl that year in Vegas at something like 30:1. I had made a few grand by the end of the season and was on a hotstreak in the playoffs and I put a little over 5,000 on Denver to win vs Pitt choosing to let it all ride instead of hedging my superbowl bet by betting against them.

Oh well. Lesson learned.

Did you even watch that game? They by no means "beat the hell out of SD".

Yes I watched the GAME. Any win KC gets it should, the other team should feel like they got the hell beat out them!

Just noticed PFT had a story a bit ago on Wallace probably starting tomorrow. It sounded like a possibility but he just becomes the random unknown for tomorrow's game.

This week i like all AFC WEST TEAMS to either win or cover and i also like NO Saints. Those will be my 5 choices.

I did end up going with a couple props. KC/Cle to score longer than 39 1/2 and GB/Buf longest TD to be under 42. I see more big playmakers in the KC game and less in the Buf game. GB could connect with a long TD but I expect them to ride Jackson a lot and try to get Buf to stop the run game.

Still considering the Dallas game. Not sure.

I don't know how anyone can get behind Oakland. I thought STL played decent last week.

I agree with you. Sam looks good, but for once i want to give it to OAK's DB's vs a rookie QB. Also i expect a decent running game from anyone who plays STL.

One already cleared with Cribbs' long TD. Passed on the Cowboys game and they're currently down 3 (so need 10 points to push), and the GB game hasn't had a long TD yet but any single play can end that.

The joy of sports. Bad is relative to the two teams on the field. Looks like Cleveland is going to out-bad KC today.

Game isn't over but that bet seems like it would've been a good one.

I'm glad I stayed off that Cowboys one. Almost took it but luckily gametime hit before I had completely sold myself on it.

3 team parlay

kc: straight up (+150)
atl: -7
philly: -6.5

Could have won some good money.... except Philly apparently can't stop Detroit from scoring 15 points in 3 minutes.

That sucks. Was the entire parlay for +150? That's horrible odds, it seems, if so.

Looks like OAK did not cover the spread, but as i mentioned in my prediction. All AFC West teams won this week. May be that is the only time we might see that happen all year.

Just an FYI, Denver is currently at +10,000 to win the SuperBowl on Sportsbook.com. I put a few bucks on it for kicks (and a huge payday if they win!).
