That was a pretty gruesome replay.

Has Sanchez been put on the injury reports yet? I have a hard time believing his shoulder isn't separated. Only thing I can think of for him electing not to throw the ball more than 2 yards from the LOS.

I missed the play..did he get rolled up, or just corkscrew into the ground?

Same here, wish I could see the clip.

his heel was dug into the ground as he fell directly backwards, looked awful.

His foot was planted and the leg was forcibly hyperflexed at the knee as he fell backwards.

Is something like that career ending?

You could see it on his face as he was being helped off the field... he knew.

He is the horse in the middle of the Jets defensive line.

I think given his injury history, age, and price tag... it probably is for Jenkins. Normally it wouldn't be.

Poor guy
Makes you wonder how good the Jets D would be if he was healthy in there for a full 16

lots of key injuries this last weekend. if only teams would have thier players ease up and not hit so much.

;)

Do the Jets dial up Haynesworth now?

The reason Albert is being a biatch is his talents aren't being used properly in the 3-4. I don't think this is the change of scenery necessary to reclaim his motivation.

An awful lot of season enders here before we even get to Week 2
We lose Doom, Jets lose Jenkins, Texans lose Ben Tate and Conner Barwin, Eagles lose Jamaal Jackson and Leonard Weaver....
I am sure I am forgetting some doozies too

Good luck selling an 18 game schedule with that

I wonder who the Packers are going to find on the RB scrapyard

I think Albert's motivation is $$$$. I doubt that whether he plays a 3/4 in DC or a 3/4 in NY means much to him.

I think about that too. Too many huge guys colliding faster than ever. Its a war of attrition that demands faster turn over in players than in the past as well. At some point it passes the point where it becomes THE issue in the sport and afraid they might eventually have to tone it down to keep careers going.. at least it seems like its heading that way sometimes?

Sucks to continually get your hopes up as a fan only to have a rash of key injuries torpedo a season. Maybe they need to increase the number of warm bodies you can keep on the team each year as partial compensation?
