Staying in a resort near Jacksonville, he ate dinner about 20 feet away. Sadly he looked a bit older and more feeble than I thought he would. Pretty cool either way.

Maybe he dehydrated.

Swing by and tell him to suck it up.

You should have walked over and said hey, I heard you were having some financial problems. Grabbed his check held it up in the air and screamed at the top of your lungs THIS ONE"S FOR PAT !!!! paid it and left.

When I was up in Denver a few weeks ago, I decided to take the tour of Invesco. Our tour guide, who said she's been with the Bronco organization for years in various capacities, told us the same thing, that Bowlen walks stooped over now and looks older and more frail than he used to. She also had some disturbing things to say about the Alzheimers, which might be worse than we realize. She had quite a few insights actually, going back years...worth the price of the tour to listen to someone on the inside for a change.

Wow....that's really sad. I give Bowlen alot of grief (for good reason I think), but I definitely hope his health improves. If the Alzheimer's thing is real, that's kinda shocking, as he's still a fairly young guy...he's what, in his early 60s? That's pretty young. Not good news.

Funny you should ask...

I was drinking my colon cleansing smoothie out of my "This one's for John" tumbler and he asked where I got the glass. I told him someone from the Orange Mane sent it to me. He said wow small world I post there and under my own name too. We then struck up quite a conversation. He asked me do you know why such a smart guy as So Cal obviously is likes Richard Nixon. I had no answer....

I tell you more of what we talked about later...

Haha...very nice. Actually, knowing Pat's political tendencies, I wouldn't be shocked if he was an admirer of the President, either. Anyway.....it would be truly hilarious if the Pat Bowlen on this board was really Pat Bowlen...especially since I told that other guy one time if he was really drinking Vitamin Water, why was it out of a paper bag?

;D

I'm looking forward to the game, tomorrow. I'm getting really pumped up right now.

I thought you had Sunday Ticket, bro?

There's no bars in Baja that will have the game on? You gotta see the game. Actually, you probably can watch it on justintv.com, baja, if there's no way you can see it on a TV.

all the streams kick me off after a few minutes, they say their quota for the country I'm in is full (prejudiced basstards)

I had the ticket for years but DTV shrunk the coverage area and I can only get Dish now but I got Red Zone so that helps.

I could see it at a bar in my town but it's outside and the sun makes the screen hard to see. I could drive the 20 miles to cabo but I hate watching the game in a bar. I am going to try to watch on nfl sunday ticket through a proxy server but who knows if that will work.

If I can't get at home I will see the second half at a bar (thanks to your post I just decided)

Two years ago at camp, well three years ago now I guess, we saw Pat. Sat down right next to me and Alfred Williams. Nice guy but even at that time he looked extremely frail. We're talking he looked like he weighed about 140lbs frail. Moved a little slow, but the conversation between he and Wade Phillips led me to believe he was still quite sharp in the mind. One thing is certain, he loves his football team. Alfred and Reggie were in the middle of arguing about who was faster. Reggie finally backed down to an on the spot 40. Alfred responded with a, I was the fastest man on our defense, I was faster than most of y'all on offense and I am still faster than you now! He was funny about it but vey arrogant too. I thought to myself, must be hard for him to be out here watching and not laying it down on the field. Even though he was several years retired. Truly a guy that lived to play football!

Actually I didn't think so either, but the tour guide (she said she's worked in a lot of other areas also) didn't appear to be kidding, nor would that seem like something to fib about. I found it odd she'd reveal that, but I don't discounted it automatically.
