Meh. The beginning of the season is going to be just like last year, no one knows what to expect out of the Broncos.

two think Oak will win at Tenn, but only one for Den winning at Jax (2 if count Pigskin show). I would think Tenn. is much stronger team then Jax.

I think the Skins are going to beat the Cowboys.

Philly is going to beat the Pack.

Oh and the Pats are going to absolutely destroy the Bengals.

Not only that, but most of them believe that Cleveland...CLEVELAND...is going beat Tampa at Tampa.

I think the main thing is that they have all read other writers say that the broncos are t3h L053r5 because they traded away brandon marshall and omg lost last 6 games season and they can't be bothered to do their job and do any research and it forms an infinite ignorance spiral.

Wow, Schefter picks the Bills to beat the Phins but doesn't think the Broncos can beat the Jags... how times have changed...

Schefter made his picks so he could post that dumb contrary column about all the weak teams winning. Shame on you. ESPN is killing ya man!!

NYG(I think that will be a very close game tho)
Atlanta
Cleveland
Denver
Indy
Arizona
Green Bay
Dallas
San Fran

I dont get all this Cinci hype

as far as the Denver game, I could see it going either way, but I think we are the better team, and should win if we play well

Regardless of anything, if you pick the Raiders to win an opening week game on the road you're either an attention-whore or an idiot.

Can you blame them? What about this team should inspire confidence from anyone but a fan? Which one of our players scares anyone?

I imagine quite a few players scare folk.

Jesterahole - Orton looks good *scared*
Jesterahole - Orton Gaffney combo looks good *scared*
Jesterahole - What if Moreno gets 40 more yards this year, he'll have a 1200 yd year *scared*
Jesterahole - What if Martindale turns out to be really good *scared*
Jesterahole - What if Ayers gets some sacks *scared*
Jesterahole - What if we win 10 games *scared*
Jesterahole - What if I am a douche who fears Broncos success so I can be Billy Big Balls on an internet message board *sc..-fact*

lol. So no one? I'm a douche who fears success because I can recognize that, from an outsiders point of view, our team has no players that scare anyone?

You are the most pathetic kind of fan.

That's me.

Pathetic.

The kind of fan who wont sleep tomorrow night because we play Sunday.

The kind of fan who will be at Invesco the week after at 8am decked head to toe in Broncos gear to sit in the cheap seats with his wife by his side, cheering themselves hoarse.

The kind of fan who realizes we are 0 - 0 and anything can happen, the Saints were 7-9 in '07, 8-8 in 08.

The kind of fan who realizes pathetic lonely misers like you are cu nts the Denver Broncos don't need.

Pathetic?

Hey, that's great that you have hope. You should, that is our jobs as fan. I was stating that, without the obvious homerism you have, a critical analysis of our team isn't that great as this point.

Why should the experts pick us? Both our lines our in transition. Clady is coming off injury, as is Williams. All of our best players on the D are on the wrong side of 30. Our starting tailback is coming off injury, and didn't light the world on fire last year. Orton is a functional overachiever. Will he elevate his game again this year? Who knows?

So go ahead and attack people who aren't in love with the current state of the team, and who recognize the flaws that other people can clearly see. That's what makes you pathetic.

Go ahead and attack "fellow" fans who are optimistic and excited and PUMPED for the season. Check the stats on how many non-playoff teams from previous years make the playoffs. And while you are at it, check my criticism of any "expert" picks. I criticized Schefter because his picks were made to serve an article. You sir, are the pathetic one. I am the person who believes that the McDaniels is smarter than us fans and can't wait to see what he can do in his second year. :welcome:

They're not playing the Saints this week, Jester. It's the friggin' Jags. They're not in great shape themselves. Worse off, in fact.

Anxiety for me started last night. No appetite, not sleeping well. Typical for this time of year. I want it to be sunday already.

I would be curious to see the results of another "expert" in the form of a chicken
Put seed into two piles, each one representing a team, and then see what the chicken "picks"
I think ESPN might be their expert panel would be outclassed ROFL!
