Looks like a one year contract for around $850,000.

The strong are only getting stronger. Looks like they may have a real shot at the AFC.

From a fantasy perspective this hurts Housh, Boldin and Mason and the receiving potential of Ray Rice. But really helps Flacco! If he doesn't have a probowl season with that corps, he'll never have one! ;D

On paper, the Ravens are as good as anybody on offense, but it still remains to be seen if they'll open up it up.

Their CB situation is a mess though.

Yeah, Flaco is my fantasy football QB.

Yeah, Flaco is my fantasy football QB. I have him too, but I'm a little nervous about starting him this week. Reivis just signed, the jets are pretty stout against the pass...MIGHT have to start Alex smith this week.

This Ray Rice owner is a little sadder...

On paper they just got a little better. Hopefully it ends up not helping them.

Yeah, Flaco is my fantasy football QB.

I am in a one QB league and I have Schaub and Flacco. I am considering dropping one of them for some RB's.

At least we don't have to play them this year... o wait.

I'm thinking about starting Orton over flacco because of the jets matchup. What ya think?

I dont really think this signing does as much as people think. Housh was so good that Seattle has to pay 7 million in guaranteed money and didnt want him on their crappy team.

Housh was their best WR by far. He's a cap casulty so they dont have to pay him next year.

Ravens don't throw enough to rank Flacco too high IMO. Regardless of a late season addition like Housh. He will probably throw for 200-240 yrds a game with maybe 20 tds or so.

The funny thing in all of this, Housh will make $7m this year... $850k paid by the Ravens, the rest by the Seahawks.

This was a weird situation. Housh looked off last year, but nobody seems to care that he was trying to catch passes from Seneca Wallace and Charlie Frye? In an offense that was devoid of playmakers?

I guess I haven't followed the dudes career that closely, but this looks like an amazing bang for the buck upgrade for the Ravens.

This.

Hate to agree with a Chugger but anyone that thinks Housh is done is retarded. Dude had 0 help from his QB or the rest of his offense. It does not matter how good a WR you are if you QB sucks balls.

Isn't Carrol supposed to be a offensive guru? Why couldn't he find a way to use Housyermama

Solid WR core, absolutely no deep threat amongst the top 3.

That's the plan I am going to wait til one of the other guys QB goes down and sell high. Right now where you only need 1 good QB the value isn't there. I am not so sure Schaub can stay healthy all year too.

Carrol is a defensive coach, genius.

A very good point, and one that the MSM seem to be ignoring
They lost Stallworth for the year, so now who is going to open up the routes that Boldin and Housh need to be successful?
Flacco has that arm, but I don't see how they are going to fully exploit it

Agree. Overrated acquisition, much like the Chargers getting Crayton. Both will contribute but neither is a big deal.
