I think chances are good he sees the field. Schaub's not gonna be healthy for the entire season, I'd bet.

Right now he's 3rd string. I think Leinart will be a bench warmer his entire career however long that is. IMO he's got an immature personality and doesn't see that his position right now is his own doing. I don't think he'll ever see that

here's an article. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5538812&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines

Funny thing at the bottom of the artilcle, in his entire tenure with AZ,
" Leinart threw for 3,893 yards with 14 touchdowns and 20 interceptions with Arizona."

You couldn't pick a better QB coach in the league. I'd put McDaniels a close second behind Kubiak. This might actually help Leinart in a variety of ways. For one, he'll get to play behind a player who was in his shoes was able to parlay a few games where he filled in for the starter into being traded to and starting for another team. Kubiak will help coach him into top form. If the Texans ever release him, there is no there there.

Kubiak is easily the best QB coach in the league but you can't polish a turd.

Someone doesn't watch Mythbusters. You CAN polish a turd. They had some nice shiny ones.

Leinart's problem isn't his skill set. It's his head. I don't know if any coach can fix that.

This is what I was thinking too. He landed in the best possible place for him. This is his best chance to turn his career around, if not than TJ's record at picking first round players he wants to be Broncos a perfect 0%.

Leinart's a much better fit for a westcoast style system. Will be interesting to see if Kubiak can light a fire under his ass.

For a guy who wants to be a starter he chose a horrible place to sign (unless that was his only option).

He could very well be a Seahawk next year.

Orlavsky is #2 in Houston, and a weak #2. And I think Pete Carroll didn't want him.

I think Josh McDaniels is.

See Matt Cassell.

Sure but a shiny turd is still a turd!
