Interesting concept. From what I've read so far, the technology can only convert 2, 3, and 4 numbered plastics, and it says it takes 1kw of power to convert 1 kilogram of plastic to roughly 1 liter of oil.
I don't know enough about energy to know IF that killowat conversion rate is effecient, but it seems like a great idea to get the ball rolling
