Denver had the cover of the NFL page on ESPN.com, they had blog coverage immediately after their game, and their game recap was Broncos-heavy overshadowing the Ochocinco/TO storyline and any storyline having anything to do with the Bengals.

Denver will be the focus of most of their games. I would expect the Broncos to be showcased more in monday and sunday night football as well as generally in Sunday football as long as Tebow has a role on the team.

Like I said in another thread regarding the media coverage: God help us if he pans out.

I do wonder what the kids here who like to bitch and moan about lack of coverage will say. We'll be the team that everybody hates. We'll be the team that people complain gets too much spotlight.

It will be interesting to say the least.

You could hear it in the boos tonight. People boo'ed a third string QB in the 3rd quarter of a preseason game.

If Tebow is even just decent we might get a bit of a Favre-effect following how our team is covered and how other fans react. Whatever, hopefully he plays well enough to validate it and we can all enjoy the ride. More Broncos coverage never bothered me.

If Tebow makes it big he will set new standards for football stardom, because of the huge fan group he already has from Florida and if he makes it big adding to that all the wagon jumpers, it will be insane.

It could be like the Red Wings, in many away games you would see as many Tebow jerseys as you will see home team jerseys, especially in games in the South east, I would love to see Tebow start a game for us in Jacksonville, there would be no Jaguars fans in the seats.

The broncos may be, in effect, the home team vs. the Jags week 1

That's not saying much considering the Jaguars can't sell any of their tickets regardlessHilarious!

I have to admit, Pat....drafting Tebow was a brilliant marketing move on your part. He'll line your pockets with tons of merchandise money and if he keeps progressing, the team can get rid of Orton, thereby allowing you to monopolize the city's supply of certain beverages for yourself.

Well played old man.

FWIW: Of the 4 rookie QBs that debuted this weekend - Bradford, Clausen, McCoy, Tebow - Denver's was only rookie QB to account for a TD.

That's cool. Pat's kind of an odd duck, tho. Vitamin Water is pretty innocuous, so I don't know why he keeps it in a paper bag. Maybe he's just eccentric.

He doesn't want to pull a Dez Bryant and endanger his team's endorsement with Gatorade, especially with so many Florida guys on the roster.

That is because he demolished Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl last year.

I would expect you to defend trolls that make remarks about someone's mother. Fits right in with your "Christian" identity.

Let's get reeeeeeeeeeady to ruuuuuuuuuuuuumble!!!!!!!

In the red corner, the scrappy McSkillet, formerly known as Osama bin Llama, with a record of 21,00 posts.

In the blue corner, Rohirrim, with a record of 32,000 posts, the heavy favorite.

Can the upstart Skillet frying-pan the heavy favorite, the wild horseman? Can the grizzled warrior Rohirrim trample the upstart? Stay tuned . . . . .
