Sitting out.

Keep a roster nearby while watching today's game. And not just for the second half, when rookies and other young players get most of the playing time.

The Broncos' starting lineup will be missing several players the team hopes will be able to start the season opener Sept. 12 at Jacksonville.

Instead of all-pro offensive lineman Ryan Clady at left tackle, fans will see D'An- thony Batiste. Instead of D.J. Williams at inside linebacker, fans will see Wesley Woodyard and Akin Ayodele.

Williams missed much of the first week of training camp and has been limited since returning to practice. He did not travel with the Broncos to Cincinnati on Saturday.

"If the guys are healthy and ready to go, we'll play them," McDaniels said.

Other players who won't play against the Bengals include right guard Chris Kuper (ankle), running backs Know- shon Moreno (hamstring) and Correll Buckhalter (back), rookie wide receivers Demaryius Thomas (foot) and Eric Decker (ankle), and outside linebackers Elvis Dumervil (pectoral muscle) and Jarvis Moss (hand).

Do not forget to start an "Official" game thread.

I am going to print out a copy of the roster to keep up with all the new blood on the team.

Moss is a little depressing he really needs to show something this year

Might be a game to miss no thomas or decker to watch. Tebow is intriging but, not expecting much in his 1st game.

I guess Tebow, Bannan, and the Old Charger are just about the only reasons to tune in to what should be a practice squad play-off.

Dude, he is a B U S T. Was a third or fourth round project we picked in the first.

Don't get your hopes up...the kid doesn't have it.

Yeah I agree. I really wanted to see the rookie receivers and kinda wanted to see Moss in the starting role.

I'm anxious to see how Walton & Beadles do, as well as Ayers development.

Thats true.

Much of the season rests on whether or not those young guys on the o-line hold up their ends of the bargain.

As long as Tebow plays, my attention will be piqued.

Plenty of things to look for even with Thomas and Decker out. We have a bunch of other rookies and other young players who need to develop. Maybe Kirlew will surprise. Maybe Joe Mays will light it up. I think it'll be interesting to see the 3-4/4-3 front variants. CANNOT WAIT FOR DA GAME.

But the coach was the mastermind LOLWho are you refering to...a TE named Quinn or a midget named Smith?

It's too bad about all the injuries, but this will give a chance for others lower on the depth chart to step up and shine. Also, while I would love to see Decker and Thomas, it's better for them to get healed up and get ready to go for Jacksonville. Also, for some of these players, I think it's better for them not to play (DJ especially), so we can see what have behind them. I for one can't wait to see Wesley Woodyard for instance in a starting capacity and see how well he can do.

Yeah I forgot about of rookies on the front line and Ayers! I want to see those guys play, and pretty much just seeing football again does it for me!

I think he was referring to a WR named Marcus Nash or was it Ashley Lelie?

Why doesn't Moss get a club-hand going and fight for his job?

Is this the game thread? Is there one? Don't we usually have a game thread?
