Strange. Maybe he just didn't love it. He looked good in preseason last year (that's all I ever saw of him).

Holy crap! I remember a few people really wanted this kid. Glad we dodged that bullet.

who?

RB out of Alabama. I think the 49ers drafted him. He was productive in college.

Surprising, must be injury issue.

Actually it's not, he was healthy and the 2nd string RB. He was not on the verge of being cut, and was penciled in as the change of pace back behind Gore. My guess is he has family issues to attend to, or just isn't cut out for the NFL.

The kids was money in college and last preseason, Barring injury to Frank Gore, the kid would not get too many chances.

Yeah I just read saw that. To bad, because I like how he ran and thought he would have been a good selection for Denver last season. But if your heart isn't in the grind, then it not worth playing.

The 49ers drafted Anthony Dixon, who was a stud at Mississippi State. Gore and Dixon are going to be a terrific combo.

wow...i really liked him coming out of Alabama....i thought Singletary's comments were very diplomatic and respectful when he talked about Glen's decision to leave....some coaches would have just brushed it off or bid him good riddance
