View Full Version : Tim Tebow Throws INT In Camp

"… Tim Tebow got his first two-minute drill work, but it only lasted one play — as long as it took for Tony Carter to wrest a pass away from Demaryius Thomas, grab it and tap both feet inbounds for the interception. Tebow’s pass to the sideline was crisp, but Thomas’s bobble kept the first-rounders from making the connection. It was Tebow’s first interception in a team period so far at camp …"

Seems like Thomas' inconsistency with his hands has been a reoccuring theme in the five days since camp started. Does he have a cousin named Darius Watts?

Move to OLB or GTFO.

(Cut by 1st preseason game.)

Clearly Tebow's fault. Cut him and start Thomas.

I think Thomas was blinded by the shine from Timothys halo...hence the bobble

They are talking on Sirius like Thomas tore it up today. Said he was "making plays all over the field".

Given it was his first, I think I am okay with it ;-)

Yeah, but it was the only interception of training camp that was thrown by a quarterback.

The other ones just kind of happened.

Tim Tebow does NOT throw interceptions. Plainly, Satan took control of that ball after it left Tebow's hand.

Has Quinn thrown one?

No, he's been playing it real safe. By throwing everything out of bounds where nobody can get to it.

I call BS. Tebow would never allow Satan to be in his vicinity....that would be mother earth.

First off, learn your religious demonology. Satan is only allowed by God to interfere. Which he has never done since Job. Second, it would have to be the recievers fault who was briefly possesed by a demon (tebow can not be possesed as he is a saint.

I don't think this has been talked about enough. But it's been happening all camp, McDaniels even said he was inconsistent catching the ball. I hope it's just rust and no Watts reincarnated

Thomas dropped a lot of passes in college. Too bad we can't combine Decker and Thomas because that would be an All-Pro right there.

McDaniels also said on Sirius that today's practice was the first one where Thomas looked really comfortable and displayed his talents. This first mistake aside, the general consensus on the Sirius show was that he kicked ass.

i'd rather the team pick a guy watching the practice from the sidelines than bring Simms back.

After being to a ton of practices this year, I can say that people see what they want to see. Those skeptical about Tebow, who didn't like him, point out how wobbly his pass is or that he takes off to run too much and believe everything they didn't like is being validated. Those that liked him see the athleticism, the fact the passes are mostly accurate and it's just a matter of time before he mentally picks up the game.

Thomas sure won't be 1/4th of a WR that the Training Camp/Preseason Superstar Todd Devoe was. :clown:

Can't start a new thread for some reason, and searching for this on the site got me nowhere, so here goes.

Anyone going to the practice tonight at Invesco? Some friends and I are going, but I'm curious about a few things.

What time do gates open? Do they serve beer? What time should we get there?

Thanks in advance. And if there's a thread that I missed about this, please share that as well.

Gracias.
