Brian Griese used to quarterback the Broncos. Now he'll be one of the voices of the Broncos.

Griese will provide color commentary for 850 KOA's radio coverage of the upcoming season, teaming with Dave Logan, KOA's play-by-play veteran. Griese called games on a part-time basis last season.

As long as he's sober and doesn't trip over any dogs, it's all good!

Keep him away from Trevor Pryce...:~ohyah!:

I much as I hated BG, he's actually not that bad on the radio.

A better guy than a Denver QB.

He makes a difference in the community.

Griese did do a great job on the radio broadcasts I heard last season. I'm glad KOA is naming one color man this year instead of rotating the position like last year (some of the rotation guys were good, some not so good)

Guess Brian has given up on an NFL career (I remember he was trying to hook up with a team last preseason).

Did he do the Bengals game? Whoever did that game was the worst we've ever had.

Excellent, he was clearly the best out of the group they used last year.

Speaking of broadcasts, Sirius NFL Radio are at Broncos camp today.

SI_RossTucker (http://twitter.com/SI_RossTucker) Huge show coming up from Broncos Camp on Sirius NFL Radio 3-7pm EST. McDaniels, Orton, Bailey, Tebow, D. Thomas, Dawkins & more!

For some reason, I can't start a thread to let everyone know.

Dave Logan is the "and that is a Denver Touchdown" guy right? I grew up overseas... could never watch games so I just got NFL Field Pass and listened on the radio.

Trevor Pryce is back in Denver?

When did Griese retire? How old is he?

awful

I don't need my homer announcer crew to feature someone that ended the career of our best player.

Griese also was an analyst for ESPN college football last year. He's not bad. He's doing it again this year.

http://www.espnmediazone3.com/us/2010/08/espn-college-football-commentator-assignments/

Analyst Brian Griese and commentator Bob Wischusen will work the ESPN2 Saturday noon telecast. Last year, Griese and Wischusen called various games across the ESPN networks.

He better be a resilient guy what with all the people calling him an SOB. Jeez, has it ever occured to you folks that you have no class?

I think it's cool a former Bronco QB will be calling the games. Welcome back Brian!

Well, he is the son of Bob, so the acronym does technically fit.

I would say that was an audition and a cheap way of not paying someone full time. Heard good things about him last year and he is following in his dad's footsteps. Congrats to him.

"Hey Brian, tell us about the time you ended Terrell Davis' career!"

You know what, not his fault. Go back and watch SHANNON SHARPE give up on the play so he would not get hit. Sharpe had more to do with it that Griese.
