Last two plants just closed up shop and went overseas. Ten years ago there were over 60 manufacturing Levi plants in the continental United States. :USA:

Today? O

This is sad :moon:

At the end of the day it's all about money.................... I saw a 20/20 episode the other day reporting on how our Tax returns are done overseas in India! US scans our returns and then workers(College kids or Accountants) in India log on to a U.S.tax site, download the returns and proscess/ file them online. So even the us government is in on cheap labor. The guy that runs one place say's that the US government is saving close to 300 Mill instead of paying US accountants.

Maybe we should ask if there's anything wrong with us, not wanting to do cheap labor? I mean couldn't they get interns from college to do it cheap, and get it on their resume?

We are going to hit another depression if we don't watch it.
