Free agent RB Ladell Betts is visiting Denver and New Orleans this week. Longtime Redskin is healthy after serious injury in 2009.

No it doesn't. That graph comes nowhere close. It does match his carries by year. But not his YPC.

Who else that is out there do you think we should bring in to compete in the event that Moreno's injury goes south and we need depth? For my part, I see no reason not to look at the guy. I sure as hell hope that he's not the starter at any point in the season - but if it gets down to that point, I'm not sure who you think is available now that would be a better option.

Yeah ok, you're right it's carries. He is done. As for the better option, who's working at the local cell phone store? Or Westbrook.

For my part, I'd have rather had Peyton Hillis, but that aint happening. Ladell Betts isn't such a bad option to have in as a third string back. He might not have a tremendous amount of upside - but let's face it, if we're going to our third option, the season is in peril. There's not a lot of options out there right now.

BTW, why did we trade for Quinn if we planned to draft The Savior in the FIRST ROUND?

According to Taco, the simpleton offense in Cleveland seems to suit Hillis.

BTW Kaylore, Hillis dropped because he sacrificed for the team at Ark to play fullback, and likely dropped for the perception that white men can't run. You're assertion that people jumped on his wagon because he's white is absurd.

In fact, he was taking over the game before the freak injury.

But no matter, now we have 4QB's and zero RB's, Rookies and and a injured all pro @ LT, the WR corp raw/underutilized.

Offensive Genius my ass. And what happens to Brandstater?

Why did we trade for Quinn at all ? Or pick the other Turd Quinn in the second for that matter.

McBeavis has run out of free cards, and I don't see alot in exchange for what we have given up.

The trades ere fine, the selections he made with them are atounding poor.

Seriously, there is no other RB's that we can try out that are not coming off bad injuries?

We're moving to a power running scheme. How nice it would have been to keep a power RB who had nice hands and good speed. I want HILLIS back.

Just to be clear, you're blaming Josh McDaniels for the injuries to Ryan Clady, Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter?

You're right...he did show potential, but was constantly dinged up with injuries that kept him off the field. I would be so pissed if we signed Wynn. Betts, on the other hand, I would definitely be open to seeing how he did in camp....with one stipulation: he would have to drastically outperform the younger guys (Ball, Hall and Kolby Whats-his-face).

I, for one, am more excited to be a Bronco fan this year that I have been in many years. Lots of new exciting talent that I can't wait to watch in the preseason. The offense may take a step back without Clady, but the Defense is starting to get me excited.

For the right price, he'd be a depth guy who can probably play special teams as well. If he's a good soldier, he's got enough ability to spell our big 2 RB's and even bring back kicks. All things being equal, I'd prefer Brian Westbrook.

Broncos more then likely just looking for legs to carry ball in preseason with Moreno down and being thin at RB.

I doubt this is looking for someone to carry ball much. If it is we are in deep deep trouble. like 6-10 trouble

Ladell Betts ran 26 times for 114 yards 4.4 per carry and a touchdown vs. Broncos last year. His best season was in '06 when he rushed 245 times for 1154 yards (4.7 ypc) and 4 TD's. He also chipped in 53 catches for 445 yards (8.4 ypr) and another TD.

We were going to draft Toby Gerhart with our first 3rd rounder guys (and Walton with the 2nd... Decker wasn't in our plans). We didn't think Minnesota would grab an RB.

At least... this was my theory. Gerhart would have had a nice contrasting style to Moreno. Oh well... we got Eric Decker out of it.
