Holy crap that was weird. On minute I was in the second I was getting strange errors. But clearing cookies does solve the problem.

I was in an alternate Omane universe. It was a test site or something.

Unfortunately, this didn't fix the posting error. But I am honing in on that. What I've found is that error is related to posts with long thread titles. It's a setting that apperently got tripped during the recent server move. I've got a support ticket in now that I've been able to repeat the error and hone in on it. Hopefully will get it nipped this week.

Short thread titles... No problem... Short thread titles that are then switched to long thread titles... No problem. But submit a really long thread title... Problem.

Try a thread titled "test" and tell me what happens.

That problem should clear if you delete your OrangeMane cookie and try the site again.

Not lying, that link gives incorrect firefox instructions. So I still have the issue. Please don't suggest anti-freeze.

This issue has been giving us fits. We've tried every server setting we can. It's apparently not it. Support thinks that it might be a template that needs to be reset, so this weekend I will be going through and resetting some of the templates to see if that takes care of the problem.

In the meantime, we know that short threat titles post without a problem and that they can then be edited into longer thread titles once they've posted without a problem.
