View Full Version : Where do you buy your Jerseys?

I'm gonna hit training camp on the 7-9th, and I want to take along a few jerseys in hopes of getting an autograph or two. I'll be taking my authentics to get autographed, but will want to replace them with some other wearables.

Replicas look cheap to me, so I want to replace them with something better. . . I dont think I want to spend the money to buy another 2 or 3 authentics. . . I've been told there are some really good (fake) authentics available, but I haven't had any luck finding them. One of my buddies told me that jersey101.com was a good place to get them, but I got a chingchongchang 404 error when I try to pull up that site.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

ebay is the best for the "fake" authentics. I have a few from there that are awesome.

If you're looking for quality selection though, hit up Bill's Sports Collectibles on South Broadway. They'll do custom orange crush jerseys too, if that's your thing.

Get yourself a personalized jersey with your own name and number on it.

When some ahole tells you it's geeky, you can tel them you've paid one price while they've wasted untold dollars on the "star of the month" replica or authentics at the time. I know a bunch of people who wished they'd got their own know that laid down good $$$ for a Cutler, Marshall, Plummer, Portis, etc. etc that still regret it to this day....Just sayin.

The Bill's Sports Collectables site offers a good selection, but will kill you on the shipping

total price for all 5 with shipping $152 from http://www.weiketrade.com/

What an ugly jersey. These fakes are so bad. Because we all know the 1994 Broncos throwback had the new horse logo on the side instead of the 75th patch and the NFL Equipment patch instead of previous simple logo.

P.S. - Nobody wears jerseys anymore. Even rappers know it's played out. (only exception maybe gamedays).

I took a chance ordering from Weiketrade. I got a 1977 Tom Jackson and 1994 Shannon Sharpe for me and a 1980 Earl Campbell for the wife.
The 2 bronco jerseys I got were made different. The older one had the big sleeves and stripes sewn on. The new one had the elastic sleeves, with the striping patterned into it, and the name had a blue outline under the white letters.

The wife's jersey looked great with the exception of a bit of a run on seam where the name patch was sewn on the back.

They have the Mitchell and Ness logos on them and price tags for 300$ each.

http://www.mitchellandness.com/Products/Houston-Oilers-1980-Jersey---Earl-Campbell__7220-219-80ECAMP.aspx

The Earl Campbell in the picture is different than the one we received. The picture looks to have iron on numbers, and doesn’t have the Nfl crest at the collar V. Hers is sewn on numbering and has the crest.

I would highly recommend knockoffs going forward, I would just order a bunch of them, cause the shipping from china is bulk rate. Might as well buy more and get as many as possible in that shipment.

The jerseys came with Mitchell and Ness logos and $300 price tags on them. I wanted to compare them to what was shown on the M&N website to see how close they were. By and large, they're the same thing.
Like I said, the Bronco jerseys I received were identical to what's shown on M&N.com.
The Earl Campbell had a newer NFL crest on the collar (not one that would have been there 30 years ago), and we got sewn on, vs iron on lettering and numbers.
I'm sure if you're a real purist, there'd be faults with these jerseys, but I paid essentially 35 bucks a piece (factoring in shipping) for them. They look good, fit better than the authorized replicas I had been buying, and from my standpoint, they're great deals.

i made a simple recommendation based on my experience. i didn't debate the merits of a person's value as a human being based on their willingness to buy a 300$ shirt. i just tried to be helpful and pass along a little experience i had. i never said buy this or you're a jackass.

Why?

For several reasons.

If it's someone who doesn't actually know any better, then I can forgive them because they honestly don't know. Like a grandparent/parent who buys a jersey as a gift and really has no idea about them.

It's the people that knowingly do it because they're cheaper. They are horrible quality, and I don't care who you are, your fake jersey doesn't look or feel like the real thing, no matter how much you say it does.

It's stealing. Nobody is entitled to a jersey. If you can't afford the $85, $115 or $250 for one of the NFL manufactured jerseys, then buy a t-shirt or something else. That's my main reason for my feelings towards people who buy them. They're supporting counterfeiters and most of the time terrorist organizations and other large criminal enterprises by purchasing them.

I personally buy replicas, and I actually love them. They're lighter, I like the mesh material better and they're the least expensive option. For others, I've made a few jerseys of my own as well, which if you know what you're doing is another viable option.

I saw so many fakes during the rally Friday, then again just on TV during the game. It really makes me sick that people think it's okay to buy a fake jersey. You wouldn't counterfeit money, why support counterfeiting jerseys?

I would. You are supporting most likely Child Labor in a 3rd world making knock offs. This hurts the company and any legal entity that is associated with that jersey. I believe character counts. Making your own jerseys is legal, go ahead, ask the NFL/Denver Broncos yourself.

So what's the difference between buying a fake jersey and making your own?

Ultimately, you end up with a jersey without paying the NFL for it.

It's when you start selling them that it becomes illegal.

Please tell me you're kidding?

Those organizations counterfeit things to FUND their operations, not because they want to make something for themselves that doesn't exist.

To be clear, I don't make my own current Broncos jerseys, that would be stupid since they can be purchased. I make older jerseys that aren't available for purchase anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

if you wanna buy authentic jersey , just go to the nfl official pro shop, you would get a brand new awesome jersey there

if you wanna buy replicas one , Usually Ebay would be a good choice .also , you can look at dhgate .com .there are many good sellers from China applying their jerseys with very low price . and then . you can also go to 101 as you said . it's chinese supplier also I thinks , there are also http://www.weiketrade.com. tarajersey. toonjersey . also some good ways to go .

I've ordered from tarajersey now toonjersey before and it usually takes about 2-3 weeks and close to $45-$50.
once looking at Weiketrade and noticed how it is free shipping if you order 10 jerseys or more, so only $25 a jersey.

so , if you just wanna buy more , go to weiketrade .for one , go to tarajersey or toonjersey.

I just got a Von jersey in the mail yesterday from Tara. The jersey itself is pretty nice, but you can see the differences if you look close. The NFL logo on the collar is shotty as is the Reebok logo. Not really something worth paying $200 more for, though. For $39 I'm happy.

As noted earlier in this thread, I bought some throwbacks and was quite happy with my purchase. I just wanted to make sure I am seeing your jersey right and they are are using the newer mesh material on yours? Mine are made of the older, thicker weave stuff, as I would expect to see on 20 and 30 year old jerseys.
I am also glad to see someone else happy with their knockoffs.
Lets hope for a lack of terrorism or organized crime resulting from our purchases.

My girlfriend, and god bless her for doing it, bought me the $300 "Premium" Tebow jersey for Christmas last year. Don't get me wrong, I love it. I also would have loved 12 x $25 jerseys :~ohyah!: My guess is she did it to give her more closet space.

Let the thread die unless of course you have a certain interest in people buying jerseys. It seems that way throughout your posting career here at the Mane.
