Came across this topic on ESPN's website. It's about stadium food vendors and their violations of various health codes. They examined every stadium/arena/park for NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. 107 in total.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/story?page=100725/stadiumconcessions

Most pertinent to us:
Invesco: 61% of vendors in violation
Coors Field: 62% of vendors in violation
Pepsi Center: 67% of vendors in violation

You're supposed to be able to get the actual health reports for every stadium, but when I try clicking on it I just get the Denver Health main page, not the specific report for each stadium.

Anyways, take a gander. Interesting stuff.

LOL @ the state of Florida! In the entire USA, there were 8 venues with 75-100% of the vendors having violations...7 of them are in Florida! The only other venue located in Florida showed 67% of the vendors having violations!

Careful Brandon! Your entire state is a cesspool of health code violations!

That settles it. I will be tailgating on Sept 12 and not getting any food inside.

If you are a Washington Wizards fan, you cant enjoy the product on the floor because the players are always injured or suspended, and you are guaranteed to eat food or have drinks from a vendor in violation of health code because literally every vendor is in violation.

Worth the price of admission?

And check out JerryJonesLand...72% of vendors are in violation. State of the art stadium...cutting costs all over the place. Makes you wonder.

Which is why I tailgate to consume food and drink all the beer before getting in.

Concessions are one of the biggest ripoffs in America, far as price and quality goes. However, while I am not pleased with the 10 dollar beers at Staples Center for Laker and Kings games, they only have 11 percent of vendors in violation. Not bad, but that's attributed to the fact that California has very strict codes for these vendors to abide by. Especially at County and State fairs.

Not surprised that the Oakland Raiders stadium has the worst rating in California. What a **** hole.

I like meal worms with my dogs, just put some right on top.

I also like live ants on my pizza.

Among the findings:
• Chicago: Three of the four stadiums show no violations, but inspectors showed up when the stadiums were not hosting games, with no food being served or prepared, and no workers present.

Shocker: Even the food inspectors in Chicago are on take.

Drink alcohol with it and you'll be fine.
