Posting some stuff in a desperate attempt to liven up the slow season:

"I couldn't wait to hit Mark Sanchez," Freeney told Farmer. "And I can't wait to hit Tim Tebow even more."

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/07/03/freeney-froths-for-crack-at-rookie-offensive-tackles-tebow/

Brian from Salem, Ore., wants to know if I could see Denver using big receivers Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker as starters and third-year pro Eddie Royal as the slot receiver.

Bill Williamson: I think that is Denver's ultimate plan. Thatís why Thomas was drafted in the first round and why Decker was taken in the third round. Denver thinks both of these big, strong, fast receivers can be difference makers. If they both bounce back from foot injuries, as expected, they should get a lot of chances to succeed as rookies. Royal needs to bounce back from a poor second season after a very strong rookie season. Denver coach Josh McDaniels has always envisioned him as a slot guy. All three of these players have to prove they can succeed at the NFL level, but if they do, Denver should have a solid receiving group down the road.

Haha!
I think he's got to be able to catch him first.
I know Freeney is a great football player in his own right, but he might be underestimating Tebow's athletic abilities and awesome elusiveness...

I can see Tebow trucking some undersized pass rushers whenever he gets to play. Should be fun.

Exactly what I was thinking when I read this. Tebow is as big as Freeney and might just run over his ass.

Bingo...exactly my thoughts. I wouldn't be surprised if Tebow flattens some NFL linemen, and Freeney's not exactly a big dude. I would imagine he can out lift him in the weight room also. What's intriguing about him is that not only can he run over people, but for a big guy he's got some moves as well. He's like a big workhourse runningback who can throw it too. Frankly the NFL hasn't seen a physical weapon like this, including Vick. Vick can go 60 yards at any moment but he's not going to bruise linebackers and run over safeties like this guy does. I've never seen a QB who runs like a mad bull like this guy does.

You're pretty sold on Tebow, huh?
Me too, man.

I wanted Tebow over a year ago when I started thinking about him working that Gator passing attack that looks alot like what NE did while McD was there. The guy's a physical freak and has the IT factor we've been discussing on the other thread. I can't see him not succeeding frankly.

How cool would it be to watch Tebow steamroll over roid boy on some 4th and goal Bo Jackson style when he punked the Boz? ;D

Kinda like the 1:09 mark. Timmy vs Eric Berry

Freeney should worry more about his ankle & overall health, rather than dreaming of hitting rookies.

Someone should remind Burger Bill that the "slot receiver" is actually a starter in this offense. See; Welker, Wes.

not only that, but Tebow is just about as big as Freeney, faster, and more athletic. Freeney won't put Tebow on the turf.

Tebow will simply place a pillar of fire between he and Freeney until he decides to throw the ball.

Yeah, he's getting ahead of himself. He'll have to beat Ryan Clady before he worries about Tebow.

I am happy about the Tebow pick, but with one concussion already, I'm not sure I want to see him out there playing He-man with Freeney-I was hoping for a longer career for him-:nutkick

Right now he'd have to beat Tyler Polumbus, which is like threatening Kobe to make a basket with Earl Boykins guarding him.
