Anyone invested in sports cards or other significant pieces of memorabilia? I'm looking to get rid of my sports cards from 1986 - 1993 (Pro Set, Score, Topps) and wondering if I'm giving up anything significant other than Jerry Rice RC? I was going to trade a guy for these sets straight up for an Elway RC....just to consolidate from boxes to one good worthwhile piece.

I'd like to get an Elway autographed official helmet...anyone have one and what did you pay for it? If not, what is your most prized piece (we need photos)?

This seat from old Mile High is pretty amazing, overpriced of course, but very nice.

I have probably over 100,000 football cards from the 70's-2010 and the only really expensives cards between 1986 and 1993 would be a Steve Young RC in 1986 Topps, and the 1989 Score set which would have some solid aikman, barry sanders, deion sanders, rookie cards

Wow! 100,000!!! I can only imagine how much fun those are. What is your best card?

So, is Score considered better quality than ProSet? I personally prefer the in-game photos on the ProSet cards versus the facial Score card photos. So, why is Score priced higher than ProSet for the same person?

1989 Score has a shorter print run I believe and Pro-Sets are highly over produced. 1990 score is really over produced so they arent worth much as is the case with most cards printed from 1990-1994.

As for my collection, I collected from when I was 3 till about the end of high school. I still dabble a bit from time to time and I am in a trade group where I send out all my non-wanted cards for broncos cards so it is pretty awesome. I have 2 Elway Rookie cards plus about another 700 of him, plus a Rice RC. I also have a Rod Smith card that there was only 10 made of in the world, so that is one of my favorites.
