From Kyle Sonneman, db.com blog administrator:
Just talked to those in charge of Fan Fair and they told me that Fan Fair has changed this year and will be in August and tied into a night practice at the stadium. It will be a free event and once we confirm a date, we will add it to DenverBroncos.com.

No it's been four. However the latter half usually end up being closed to the general public and for a few years we went somewhere else to scrimmage other teams so it "felt" like two.

You didn't read my post.

Shanahan started his the last weekend of July every year, so technically his was longer by three days. They are the same length. If you're talking about weeks camp is open to the public, then yes, it was two weeks, and as I said after that it's closed to the public. McDaniels might keep his open longer. Regardless, camp keeps going on whether the public is there or not, as they transition into the preseason, and press still are allowed to come. The only difference might be that they have two-a-days for more weeks than Shanahan did later in his career, as McDaniels practices is pads more often and his practices are harder.
However his frequency of two-a-days isn't much different than Shanahan's. The biggest differences between the two is McDaniels' practices are more physical and have more contact more days, and McDaniels likes the run late evening practices, which Shanahan never had.
