This is great to hear. I love Woodyard's style of play, but was worried that he might be one of the guys who is put off by Tebow being... well Tebow.

Sounds like the D guys are really starting to respect big Tim for his work ethic and for being a sincere dude. Would love to hear what some of the O thought.

David Kircus thinks Tebow's a tool. Mainly because he asks Dave to put jalapenos and extra mustard on his five dollar foot long.

Tim Tebow would never suggest antifreeze to solve a problem...

...unless of course that problem was preventing a frozen engine.

The three Florida players who have won the Heisman Trophy will soon have larger-than-life statues of their likenesses outside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, according to multiple reports.
Former Gators quarterbacks Steve Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel and, yes, Tim Tebow will be cast in bronze and placed on the west side of the stadium some time after the 2010 season, the Gainesville Sun reports.
Costing a total of $550,000, the statues will be funded by private donations, according to the Sun. The project was approved unanimously Wednesday by the University Athletic Association.
Tallahassee artist W. Stanley "Sandy" Proctor will make the statues, according to the Sun. He created a statue of legendary Florida State coach Bobby Bowden that stands outside Doak Campbell Stadium.
Spurrier, the 1966 Heisman winner, and Wuerffel, the 1996 winner, will be shown passing, the Sun reports, while Tebow, the 2007 winner, will be shown running.
Florida doesn't commission a statue of just anyone -- the only other person with a statue on campus is Albert A. Murphree, the university's second president.

Have we brought in any punters yet?

According to the official site, Colquitt has locked up the job... Unless they bring someone into camp to compete:

Winning the Job

Over the weekend, Head Coach Josh McDaniels pegged Britton Colquitt as the leader in the battle to be the Broncos’ punter. On Tuesday, the team gave Colquitt a chance to be its Week 1 punter when it waived his competition, fellow second-year punter A.J. Trapasso.

But the former college free agent out of Tennessee knows he still has work left to do. Colquitt said being the lone punter on the roster just pushes him to keep getting better.

“It gives me confidence to know that they trust me enough to go into camp with just me,” Colquitt said Thursday. “It shows that they feel like I could be the guy, and I just have to continue to prove that.”

Colquitt battled with veteran Brett Kern in training camp last season and later spent Week 17 on the team’s active roster. With a full season to get acclimated to the challenges of the pro game that also included a stint on Miami’s practice squad, Colquitt hopes to prove he’s ready to take the next step.

With more than a month to go until training camp, Colquitt has worked himself into a favorable position. But come the end of July, Colquitt knows he will have to pick right back up where he left off.

During the team’s upcoming break, Colquitt said he will train in his hometown of Knoxville, Tenn., where he’ll get a chance to work with his former Volunteer longsnapper Morgan Cox, who was recently signed by Baltimore. The 25-year old also hopes to spend some time practicing with his brother Dustin, a veteran punter for Kansas City.

The punter said many of his teammates have stopped him to offer congratulations in recent days. More importantly, several of the team’s veterans have reminded him of an important NFL maxim: no roster spot is safe or guaranteed.

“A few guys have pulled me aside and said, ‘Hey man, don’t let up. Just because they’ve picked you to be the guy right now doesn’t mean you can let up,’” Colquitt said. “It’s still an everyday grind.”

Woodyard's just trying to suck up to McD like all the Shanny holdovers, it's a real shame there's only a small % of guys on this team with talent - and they're all held over from our Hall of Fame coach. Meanwhile this idiot has run off our three best players and forced the only good ones left like Woodyard to spew this crap. McD can take these no-talent bums like Tebow, Moreno and Dawkins and get the hell out of town for all I care - the most talented team ALWAYS WINS! Jamie Winborn 4 Life...
