This was shot at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan. The main tank called the 'Kuroshio Sea' holds 1,981,290 gallons of water and features the world's second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters.

By the way, The Georgia Aquarium, located in Atlanta, Georgia at Pemberton Place, is billed as the world's largest aquarium.

I'm not a huge fan of the open-ocean aquariums. Although they do afford you the chance to see bigger animals...whale sharks, sunfish, rays, etc. The most fascinating things in those aquariums can be shoals of smaller fish (anchovies, etc) that swarm about the tank.

I like the smaller displays that show you more elaborate ecosystems. Those are, many times, better for the animals as well.

I want to put this on my TV in 1080p. Then I want a naked woman to jog across the bottom.

The Aquarium here in Atlanta is actually pretty cool. I've never been that big a supporter/fan of Zoos or Aquariums in general (always felt bad for the animals in there, they always look bored off their bums). I will have to conceed that this one is an impressive undertaking. The number of diverse aqua ecosystems under that roof is impressive. Very clean on both sides of the glass, and very informative. They have a clear wall and roof (domed)tunnel system you get to walk through that is about as close as non divers will ever get to the experience. Created 400+ jobs for the downtown area as well as opportunities for marine biology folks galor. They are doing quite a bit in the research arena as well. Best time to go is Friday night. Crowds are way down, cash bar is open, and live Jazz in the Atrium. For some reason, it just works. We have taken 12+ trips with family/company over the last couple of years and it has been one of the hits of the visit. Fun to watch the little kids, lots of big eye moments.

I see that all the time. What the **** film is it from? I want to say Kindergarten Cop or something, but I have no idea. Hopefully it's not from a home movie lol.
