So I am not going to get out of going to Philly for a week this summer for a conference.

So, I need to know:

1. How do avoid getting stabbed and/or mugged?

2. Is there anything worth while to do or see in Philly in the summer?

3. Will anyone else be in the Center City part of Philly around July 18-22?

Please help me out, I would hate having to go to seminars on adaptive tomotherapy and 3D/4D image reconstruction techniques that will never work if I could do something worth while instead.

In a couple days the Stanley cup playoffs will be in town. You can watch the Chicago Blackhawks kick Flyer anus.

Unless that series goes to game 38 I doubt they will be playing in mid July, and being a Red Wings fan I would find it hard to gloat about a Blackhawks win.

It's only gonna take 4 games.

Ginos. I ate there. It's good.

And... to avoid number one, I'd just say avoid going to Camden.

I'll be in Philly through the summer for work also. Actually driving up tomorrow to North Wales for a few days. Any tips for the area?

Do you eat herring at all and what is your stance on beer? those are two pretty key aspects of being skandinavian.

Herring made me real sick in Sweden, and I don't drink beer. But I do love naturally blond hair and social democratic politics! Vikings are ok with me too

Copenhagen is the cleanest city I've ever been to, and I love how the women just sunbathe in the nude in the parks there. And everybody speaks english... and Tivoli has a lot more character than Elitch's. I stayed with a family in Koge for a night. It was lovely... I love how the train goes everywhere.

Try lutefisk.

I like how the people accept social democratic politics. Wouldn't work in the US.

But jag har lamnat min hjarta i sverige!
