I was hoping someone who knew how to make apps would make it.

If you have a browser with RSS capability, what is the advantage of a dedicated app?

I wouldn't say we "need" an app but it would definitely be something I'd use. I'm posting from my Iphone right now.

We're moving to a cloud server in June. After that move, we will be moving to the new software. Any App that was made would be dated by then.

The new software = vb software? I don't know how friendly it is to work with. I.e. if there's some kind of API. If there's something I could work with, I'd definitely be down to make an Android app. But my fear is that they wouldn't provide any kind of API.

Alternatively, if I had the username/password to access the (I'm guessing MySQL) database, I could write a few php scripts that, if put on your server, could provide an API for the app.

I've got some experience with Android apps (built a web service, web front end, and Android app for a class this semester) and think it would be a fun project for the summer. But I don't know how much access you'd be willing to give me.

Also: this wouldn't be hugely useful. The browser on both phones displays the site just fine. But it might be fun.

As long as I can post on the toilet from my laptop I'm good.

I know Broncosforums just added a mobile view option. Perhaps a good middle ground?

I agree with this. But wouldn't it be cool to have an Omane App??
