Dude, really nice. That's awesome.

McD seems to really like and want to be part of the Denver community.

After plenty of questioned moves this early in his HC career .............. He better be out there putting a good foot forward.

I'm sure that's why he's doing it.

Not because he's that kind of person, but because he's afraid he's upset some malcontent crybabies on a message board somewhere.

 From everything I've heard from people who've met him (co-workers who sold him and setup his home theater, people at the D-Will Center) he's very nice - certainly has a midwestern, Ohioan personality.

Saccomano: McDaniels most active coach in the community over last 33 years

When he was only 18 months old, he organized a nighttime foursquare in the inner city. Kids with an attitude were traded to the next block.

Exactly! He's doing this out of fear from the fans! It's his penance for trading Hillis! Probably a court order! He's a liar and a malcontent working for Belicheat to destroy the one team that beat the Patriots! BLARRRRGGG!

That's awesome of him. Doing community service is a really good thing.

Yeah, but he still better win a lot of games or he's out of here. I hope he continues the community service, but that isn't going to allow him to hold onto his job. I'm just saying. ;D

You would think that this snippet would be one thing that all Orange Mane Bronco fans would like, appreciate and acknowledge...regardless of how they view Josh's moves relative to the Broncos.

Instead, we get ulterior motives brought up as a rationale. Then even worse, the predictable reactions and dancing monkey responses to the idiot. All we need now is a few cat jpegs and gifs to call this thread complete.

Josh does some things that I don't see eye-to-eye with. This is one thing that makes me proud to have him representing this franchise.

Maybe that is why he is making way more questionable decisions than any coach of the last 33 years. They focused on their jobs while he is out playing with children.

Anyways, that post was sarcasm. I should put that out there before some of the drama queens start crying.

Yes, it was sarcasm.

But seriously, Luke ... day by day I think I'm slowly crossing to the dark side.

As I've said from the beginning, McDaniels is going to do things things his way... just like any confident head coach. Apparently, part of his way is being actively involved in the community. Yet another reason for fans to appreciate him.

Can I ask what the point of posting the ignore message all the time is though? I don't really get why the drama queens do it as it doesn't really say or mean anything. I think I am going to start posting it because the weak minded seem to think it is an insult.

To answer what you said, that is why I posted that it was sarcasm right away in hopes of avoiding what followed anyways. Your second thought is very true. My responses are just my way of laughing at the stupidity that is always on display here. A great example of this stupidity is Kaylors crying about my sarcastic post as his only post in this thread before that was the exact same kind of sarcasm. You can't make this stuff up. Comedy clubs have nothing on actual stupidity.

Besides QB Tebow #15 & WR Thomas #88, rookie WR Eric Decker chose #87, for Ed McCaffrey, who responded by sending signed jersey to Decker.

I think it's great the Coach is getting more involved in the community. The more people he meets, they'll be impressed by him - he just has that charisma. Those people will tell their friends and before long (coupled with winning) Josh will become their coach instead of their enemy.

I think it's great and more reflective of his age than a knock on previous coaches. R66v6s, Wade and Shanny were older and probably didn't have the energy to do all that McD can. I think McD also is new and wants to really make get to know his community. He's a great guy. High morals and works hard. It's nice to see.

I dunno, I saw an article of one of Shanny's average days in one of the Denver newspapers around 2005ish.

He started with a run at Cherry Creek Reservoir (where I caught my 1st fish back in very early '70's) at 4am and went through past 11pm.

Shanny also was both the HC and GM, wonder if that had something to do with it.

Cool part about that Twitter is hearing Decker was sent a signed #87 jersey from Eddy Mac for choosing his old number.
