He is actually terrible at yo-yo. Yet he keeps getting on the air.

This is similar to Matt Millen's career path.

To make this a Broncos connection, I started watching that video when the Broncos called me on my season ticket upgrade (someone losing their job and having no cash for tickets is sad but I benefit from it). I had to tell her why i was laughing "at her" and she started laughing as I described it. I ended up sending her the link. The look, the build up and then the actual performance was awesome. Need to watch the 2nd video now. I think the best was on one show he forgot his string so he just talked with the host. FORGOT HIS STRING! How do you show up to a show without the string? Thank you for this laugh.

Is the guy like a prankster? He has to be.

"In each case, producers at the television stations received an e-mail from Joe Guehrke, saying he represented Strasser and ZimZam Yo-Yo, "the world's first 'green' nonprofit toymaker."
Guehrke told the stations that Strasser, whom he called a "master yo-yo artist," would be in their area to bring his environmental message and "zany sense of humor" to kids.
Guehrke wrote in one e-mail to a TV station that Strasser was a dynamic talk-show guest who comes "equipped with a roster of amazing yo-yo tricks, juggling and fun tips about how kids and adults alike can take small steps to make the world a greener place."
The e-mail solicitation stated that Strasser was a runner-up for Rookie of the Year in 1995, grand champion at the Pensacola Regional and was nominated for the Walt Greenberg Award in 2000.
There is no Walt Greenberg Award in yo-yo, and there is no evidence Pensacola ever hosted a yo-yo tournament or that Strasser won a rookie of the year award.
But the solicitation was good enough for the bookers on the TV stations."

This thing was initially funny and then it was really funny and then I was chuckling about it all day and then i actually called several of my friends and brought them into the bit and then we were all laughing hysterically. Seriously, the more you watch it, the funnier it gets. I'm really impressed. Anyone here remember Alan A. Abel, pronounced (A.Bell)?

I just watched a documentary on him that his daughter did. He went on the 1st Phil Donahu(sp?) show - he went on for some goofy reason but planted 7 women in the audience, they pretended to faint when they asked a question but the funny part was that the non-planted women started fainting also so they had to clear out the studio audience to finish the show.

He also held a school called Omars school for beggars, he got on all these shows as Omar and would argue with people about the merits of pan handling for a living.

He even recently faked his own Obit in the NY times.

He is the guy that shows like Jenny Jones or Morton Downey would pay to come on as hillbillies with actors pretending to have trailer camp love triangles. Now it is standard fare for the day time talk shows.

Kenny's Korner... ROFL!

"This one-of-a-kind performer has been a professional yo-yo artist for nearly ten years. He entered the competitive circuit in 1995, where, as a rookie, he took home two freestyle trophies, including an honorable mention at the Toronto International. Kenny has gone on to numerous other accolades including runner-up for the 1995 Rookie of the Year, second place at the Sante Fe Invitational, Grand Champion at the Pensacola Regionals, and was nominated for the Walt Greenberg Award in 2000. His most prestigious honor was his victory at the North American International Tournament in 1998 "
