But also, according to sources, the Jaguars have "discussed their interest in Brady Quinn and a Broncos DE/OLB."

Fox 31 Alert: The "Broncos" just called me and said they cannot speak on the Jaguars discussing their interest in Quinn

There was also tweet about the Jags putting Reggie Nelson on the trading block. "IF" there is a trade, he will probably be involved.

Doubtful. I heard he was desperate to join Nolan in Miami.

Did you hear that on the light-rail or on Wikipedia?

Zero chance of QB Brady Quinn being moved. He is and will be a Bronco. Team loves what he's doing.

But but but ... Tom Brandstater is so good!

Seems to me Quinn might be the long term backup to Tebow. He knows the offense and his contract is fairly cheap. Orton though will be costly to resign next year.

which is why he won't be retained next year.

Send them Moss and Quinn for a pick. Moss is basically a throw in for nothing.

Zero chance Quinn ever resigns anything with backup in mind. By bringing in Tebow, he most likely missed out on any chance of unlocking the incentives he was relying on to ever make his first contract worth anything. His next contract will be his only opportunity to resurrect himself and make the big $$. No chance he does it. Best case scenario is probably a tag and trade move at some point which would be unlikely if he stays as a backup.

He will be retained, through franchise tag and then traded. Broncos would be nuts to let him go for nothing.

I really hope he ends up staying with us now and in the future.

I honestly hope he starts this year. Tebow can come in and do his thing every so often and if McDaniels ever wants tebow to be the full time starter, Quinn would be a great back-up imo

I wouldn't trade him just yet. I'd let him showcase a bit in the preseason and hopefully he does well and his value goes up. Maybe Quinn and Moss for a 2nd rounder. Yeah, I'd take that, now that we've drafted Tebow. Quinn is still a major question mark. He's been in the NFL a few years now and even started some games and still hasn't impressed. Getting a 2nd rounder for him and moss would be a sweet deal for us.

If Jags offered 50 cents and a cup of coffee for Moss you make that deal. Moss has been one of Shanny's top 5 bust picks.

This, Quinn isn't going to go anywhere. Tebow is at least two years away from starting and still stands a decent chance of totally flaming out.

Luke McCown impressing in Jacksonville
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on May 5, 2010 11:15 AM ET

The Jaguars never did bring any competition from the outside in to challenge David Garrard.

ESPN's Paul Kuharsky, however, raises the possibility that someone could eventually threaten him from within. The "sideline buzz" at Jacksonville's recent minicamp was how "smooth, confident and accurate" Luke McCown looked in comparison to Garrard.

Yeah, you can't draw too much from May practice. And McCown's regular season appearances through the years don't inspire much confidence. We can't imagine McCown challenging Garrard for the Week One job, but a strong offseason could set him up as an in-season alternative.

Garrard, for one, has thought about it. He mentioned that McCown could do what Garrard once did to Byron Leftwich.
