Could care less and so TIRED of the national media talking about it and making it a big deal that Jeff Ireland asked him this question. Who cares? It's a valid question especially given the fact that his mom is going to be living with him and that she will bring her posse and pimps with her. A team knows damn well that with her and her baggage there is a good chance of dez getting in trouble for something. suck it up and quit being a pansy about this question.

Just wondering if you wash your white sheets in hot or cold. Any bleach?

FYI, she sold drugs when her kids were young to get by, spent some time in jail for it when Dez was 8, and has come out as a lesbian. No prostitution. I don't believe the question was asked because Ireland believed she was, he asked to get a reaction. He's damn lucky he didn't get one.

The 'character' concerns about Bryant were not in fact about him getting in trouble - he's never been in trouble with the law. The issue is that the guy may not quite be focused and disciplined enough to play in the NFL - which is nothing to do with his Mom being or not being a prostitute and everything to do with the character, desire and sharpness of the man himself.

What I heard is that he's a good kid who's just a bit goofy - forgetting cleats etc, that kind of thing. Not that he's pimping out his mom at weekends or doing drugs or anything like that.....

The question was clearly designed to see what kind of reaction it would bring and it was completely disrespectful and out of line. That having been said, I still see this kid as a distraction and source of drama. I am glad we took Thomas and not Dez.

Maybe he was visiting hookers 22 years ago(or however old Dez is) and thought Dez had some familiar traits? Did you guys ever think of that? I think it would make it a legitimate question.

It's the "new society" and world we live in as well as media nowadays. always waiting for anything non-pc to jump on. 30 years ago this and many many other issues would never have been discussed. sad where we are going.

LoL, so the new theory is that Jeff Ireland is actually Dez's daddy? Interesting...

Yes, accountability, transparency, and the ability to identify injustices are horrible developments of this "new era." I hate technology, too.

FWIW, the main reason I moved this is that the thread title is so misleading, especially given the thread starter's acknowledgment that it's a controversial question rather than any sort of admitted or established fact.
