The Rookie Numbers thread got me thinking about an article on the Denver Post several years ago. I'm sure it's been talked about at least once on the Mane since then, but since it's the offseason and we're all bored, what the hell?

Who were the best Broncos ever to wear their respective number?

I'll go first.

John Elway, best Bronco to wear number 7. HA!

You know it might be easier to list 0-99 and then have each of us place who we think is the best Bronco at that number of all time.

Looking at Titan's list, 87 is probably the most prestigious number in team history outside of 7 and 44.

Lionel Taylor, Rich "Tombstone" Jackson, and Ed McCaffrey all wore it honorably.

Cutler over Brister. Let's be honest here.

That was a list I put together a few years ago. Updated with a few recent players real quick but missed a few (sorry Elvis!). Corrections/suggestions welcome!

An RB with more fumbles than rushing TDs over Lynch??? For shame, titan!
