"I know they're America's team, but c'mon, what do we gotta do to get some flags called on 'em?"

ROFL.

Also, Dawkins is such a stud. McD was out going crazy after one of his great plays and all he said was "Yes Sir! Thank You Sir! Anytime Sir!"

He has confidence in Tim Tebow.

"He's gonna be a rookie, just like all the guys we bring in he will need to learn what he needs to do and do it against a high level of competition"

"Looking forward to next 3-4 months"

On 4 QB's

"We'll try and split it up some, and give guys reps each day"

May rotate it as they go, letting guys rest etc.

On Damaryious Thomas

"Definitely a different offense. We didn't evaluate theyre offense but how their talent can fit in our system"

He's a big man, that is hard to tackle and very very smart.

On his confidence in developing QB's

"I dont take credit for Tom Brady's success"

Going to teach him the best way we know how.

Every quarterback doesn't have to be the same.

When one is playing, we may do something different with the other three.

On Zane

We expect him to come in and compete at multiple spots, and can compete at inside and outside.

On Clady

The IR will be out in September.

He means the injury report, not injured reserve

IR? What?

Injury Report.

However, he did say that "NFLN Was right on in their 3-4 month diagnosis"

So... Rough season start?

Yeah, I realized, my bad rofl. I was shorthand transcribing since they were just firing away with questions :P

McD and Xanders spent 7 hours with Tebow before the draft. Classroom time and workouts on a Monday. That was impressive. I remember Dan Reeves when he saw Ted Gregory after the Broncos drafted him ("I didn't think he was that small ..."). Right or wrong on player evaluation, I don't remember any past Bronco coaching staff spending so much workout time with players in draft preparation.

Yeah its over.

It seemed like they were going to do a long piece but just hammered out all the questions in 10 mins.

This would be a pretty radical change. I've always thought that you might start to see teams specialize in different types of drives. Ie, bruisers and score fast, instead of just a omni-offense.

Like back in the day? The rams ran 2 QB's didn't they?

It would be a hell of a curve ball for defenses to adjust to Tebow and Orton.

I think he was only talking about training camp, he would give a qb the day off to rest his arm and the other guys would take his reps, then the next qb would have the next day off.

Didn't the dolphins do this in the late 70s / early 80s?

No... Nooo...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Thats rather out of context.

They asked him how Clady being hurt would effect guys like Beadles. McDaniels said while you never want something like that to happen it does at least provide an opportunity for the young guys to get a lot of extra reps and possibly some into training camp before Clady returns.

At the end of the interview they asked McDaniels if he had any final information on Clady and he said "the injury report comes out in September".
