Tim Tebow helping Jaguars boost ticket sales for opener with Broncos.

At least Tebow is helping boost ticket sales for one Jaguars game. More fans than usual have been calling the Jaguars ticket office looking for tickets for the Sept. 12 season opener against you guessed it the Broncos, according to a Jags ticket sales manager.

I guess selling these shirts in Jacksonville didn't help the push to draft Tebow.

Poor Jacksonville, their home opener is going to be full of people rooting for the Broncos.

This will be another one of those puzzles that will never be solved: Why didn't the Jags take Tebow at 10? I thought that one was a lock.

Anbody from North Florida---can you explain why Jax didn't take Tebow?

Good for them. People buying tickets just to see a guy stand on the sidelines with a headset on all game long....nice.

Management must has listened to Rohirrim whine and complain about Tebow and figured it was not worth it to them at that point.

And they didn't even have to take him at 10. They could have made the same moves down as the Broncos so they wouldn't make it that much of a reach at 10.

Me too! At least the single game tix don't go on sale until August, so I hope some people forget by then.

Maybe they didn't see the need when they become the LA Jags.

No idea, maybe they thought they could get him in the 2nd round? Maybe they were one of the teams we beat out trading up to get him?

Exactly, I don't get it. But I'm thinking Tebow will be in there for a play or two, if only as a decoy.

You sound grumpy. I guess your doctor must have informed you that it wasn't possible for you to have Tebow's baby. Tough break. Grease up a vegetable and pretend. :welcome:

There are two camps down in J'Ville fighting it out over the Tebow pick:
