Hard to believe that McShay said he was going to be a top 5 pick at one time. Feel sorry for the kid.

I would sign him to our practice squad. Had all the talent in the world coming out of High School. I think he was a 5 star recruit but lost out to Colt McCoy in Texas.

He's just not very good.
What does this teach us kids?

It wasn't just McShay. Most people had a first round grade on him last year , but he stayed at school for his senior year and absolutely sucked ass.

always wondered why guys with really high grades go back for another year? taylor mays, snead etc. if you have a chance to go very high in the draft, you take it.

Yeah, Snead should have come out last season. He would have gone somewhere in the first 3 rounds I'm sure.

He still had another year left of college. He left too early.

A 1:1 TD to INT ratio in college is just not very sexy no matter how much physical talent you have.

The same thing happened to John Walsh of BYU back in the mid-90s. He went to the Bengals in the 7th round.

Yep. Kiper said he would go #1 overall. He declared based on that and didn't go till the 7th to Cincy. Never played.
