View Full Version : Tebow's agent says "we pretty much know" where he's going

This frightens the living hell out of me. The draft can't get here soon enough.

No one knows where Florida quarterback Tim Tebow will be drafted. But the people around Tebow are dropping some strong hints that some team has already told them that Tebow is their man.

Tebow's father, Bob Tebow, claims his son is going in the first 15 picks. And Tebow's agent, Jimmy Sexton, told ESPN.com that he has a very good idea where Tebow will be drafted, and hints that it's higher than most people think.

"I don't know if it's gonna shock the world because I always thought he was going to do well," Sexton said. "But we pretty much know. We have a pretty good idea what's going to happen."

Of course, it's impossible for any player to know for sure where he's going to go until he hears his name called at Radio City Music Hall. Not even Sam Bradford knows for sure where he's going to go.

But the Tebow camp says they have a good idea. And they sound like they're pleased with where they think they're going.

What good is having alot of draft picks and positioning yourself stragetically and you end up drafting all the wrong players for your team. If he thinks he can develop "any" QB, then why not develop the 3 QBs already on the roster? He would only take Tebow at 11 if he felt Tebow will be an elite QB, not to prove a point that he can make any QB elite.

McD's plan is to develop as many QBs as he can into elite talent and then parlay them for more 1st and second round picks so he can draft and develop more QBs. The cycle will continue until Denver has every pick in the draft around the year 2021.

The Jags make the most sense if in the 1st round with their sagging attendance problems and basically a local type player. I wouldn't mind the Broncos taking Tebow, but not at #11 and not to play QB either. FB/TE is where I think he would prosper in the NFL. Any QB who has to drastically change his throwing mechanics as he's going to the NFL is not usually destined for success.

Josh, draft Tebow and you're in the last year of your contract.

Rumors fly that Broncos are getting into position to pick Tebow

As it turns out, those rumors of quarterback Tim Tebow being a top-15 pick could be sort of accurate.

A team that held a top-15 pick may get him.

Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times, who is sitting a row in front of the PFT contingent at Radio City Music Hall, just said that the Broncos supposedly are sliding back with a plan to pick Florida quarterback Tim Tebow.

Gotta respect those teams that are willing to build their teams and stay competitive by drafting OL. Steeler's have done it again.
