Ted Ginn's days with the Miami Dolphins could be numbered.

Jason La Canfora of NFL Network is reporting that the Dolphins are shopping Ginn.

It shouldn't come as a big surprise that Ginn might be headed elsewhere in 2010, considering that Ginn himself referred to 2009 as his worst year playing football.

The Dolphins' 2007 first-round pick, Ginn undeniably has talent, and in November he was named the AFC special teams player of the month. But while Ginn has played in all 48 games since the Dolphins drafted him, starting 35, he hasn't contributed nearly as much as the Dolphins hoped he would on offense. In 2009 he caught just 38 passes for 454 yards and one touchdown

IDK. Something....maybe nothing

I'll throw a 4th round pick their way for Ginn....if nothing else he is a good kick returner and would upgrade team speed on the offensive side of the ball.

Denver does not have a 5th round pick this year.

It seems these little STs guys always flame out after a couple of years. Expect McCluster and Best to do the same.

Oh sweet loving GOD can it PLEASE be draft day already? Preseason? Anything??

Yes, it was.

Our buddy who is a Phins fan got like a 1000 "WTF?" texts simultaneously from us when that pick was made.

Sheffler.

****, that would work for me. An added bonus would be when Tuna finds out Scheffler is actually a woman; Terry Glenn all over again.

Actually, we did trade Hillis, which if you think about it... is bigger than either of those moves.

"Where were you when Hillis was traded" will be question generations ask themselves...

No on Ginn. My father-in-law is a huge Phins fan (hey...nobody's perfect) and he constantly complains about Ginn's underachievement. He drops passes, disappears for games at a time, not the playmaker he was projected to be.

Just say No.

Who do you think would win a race between Hillis and Ginn (Hillis would run backwards, of course, to make it fair)?

I'd swap him for Sheffler in a heartbeat. I'd take him for a low round pick if they don't want Tony.

Plus it'd be great to get Ginn when everyone expected the Dolphins to take Brady Quinn with that pick - we'd have both for about nothing while teams gave up first rounders for them. With as much as people complaining that we don't have the other 1st round pick this year, I give you these 2, so we'll really have 3 1st round picks :)

LOL
I remember the year he was drafted, some people on these here boards wanted the Broncos FO to trade up to get him

Lmao.

Seriously though, no contest. Hillis could run with his legs tied together, backwards and blindfolded and he'd still win by 3 or 4 seconds.

are they shopping his family as well?
I remember Cameron saying they were drafting the "Ginn family" whatever the **** that means

I'd love to see the "Chemistry" evolve if we took Dez and traded Sheff for Ginn.

I agree. Not real expensive and is dynamic in that he can be a return threat as well as a deep ball threat. I'd be fine throwing a 4th their way.

I can't imagine giving up more than a conditional pick next year for him at this point. He's a decent ST'er but hardly a beast in that category either and almost worthless as a WR

Sheffler.

That's workable, definitely.

Give Eddie a breather on return duties, too ... that'd help a lot.

I don't see where he would fit in this offense. We already have Eddie Royal who is the same type of player.

We're moving Royal this year, to the X or the Y or something .... plus Marshall will probably be gone.

People say the draft is a crapshoot, but some picks are just so obviously bad ones from the minute they're made that it's simply mystifying.

Well I thought he had Joey Galloway type upside - not worth the pick for sure but still potentially a valuable weapon.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.
