With schedule coming soon, no throwback uniforms for Denver this year, but still allowed to wear the alternate orange jersey--we'll see.

I had no problem with those throwbacks, but I love it when the team dresses out in the traditional 'D' helmet, orange jersey ('65-'96) tandem that still seems to me to be the real identity of the Denver Broncos.

They've never dressed in those unis since they stopped wearing them... at least not that I recall. Wish they would though.

Those brown throwback jerseys were to celebrate the 50th anniversery of the AFL. Why would the Broncos continue to wear them? If they do a throwback, go with the ones they let go in 1996.

2001 Thanksgiving day game at the Cowboys was the last time they wore them. Also, the first time they wore them since they retired them in 1997. Probably won't see them again unless it's a real special occasion.

I thought Floyd Little getting in the HOF would be special enough to play one game in the '67-75 jersey's.

I guess this means that Bowlen will not honor Floyd at half time of a home game this year...

it probably depends if they elect anyone for the ring of fame this year...I bet Floyd is honored on Alumni weekend.

It's tradition and custom for a team to honor a HOF inductee during a halftime ceremony. Uniforms have nothing to do with it.

I understand that but it would be a great reason to bust them out.

Not gonna happen. Floyd will probably be given a new style Broncos jersey with his name on the back. The old jerseys are gone guys...

We need a throw back thread to go with this

Agreed, and based on previous threads over the years it seems to be a popular thought... we should all tweet Jim Saccomano back and let him know the Blues should be the alternate and Orange our main jersey.

The true identity of the Broncos to me will always be the current uni's and logo because we won the super bowl the first two years we had them! We're 0-3 with the D on the helmet and 2-0 with the current logo!!

I still think the alternate jersey (the orange one) should be our primary.
