Hey, I get to use the line so often used by those who actually live in a nice area.

It's about 80 and sunny in KY today.

Here, I've been saying we've had a great winter. It's now spring and that storm hit us today and it's been nasty for the past week. Don't make us pay now.....I want sunshine!

Yee Haw more snow! I was worried about the snow pack for fall fishing but we've had a series of heavy wet snow lately which is great. All you suckas in Cali, nevada, and AZ might actually get some left over piss water from the Colorado river as a result. ;D

Nah, we are fine May through July...

I was just kidding of course.

But I do remember a time when I lived in Utah, went up on the mountain to fish in the middle of June.

A quick strom rolled through and it was snowing, unreal weather.

Reservoirs are all above normal levels right now, snow pack is slightly below normal after all this spring snow...

Snow pack is doing real well in the southern ranges. We're behind up north.

Overall they are saying 91% of normal. Not bad and the storms aren't over.

Really? They cancelled an indoor show (Broomfield events center, right?) because there might be 1-3 inches of snow?

why're they canceling though? We're only supposed to get like, 3 inches...maybe? And it'll all melt on the streets. Where was the concert gonna be?

I didn't get any snow, but it looked like there was a mudstorm overnight. I went out to the truck this AM, and my first thought was, "Who's the asshole that threw mud all over my truck?"

Seriously, the truck looked like I'd been 4-wheeling in mud all night.

We figured it out - Colorado how has a good chunk of the Gobi desert as part of our soil now. Globalization at it's dirtiest.

The drive up to Evergreen was "interesting" this morning at 6ish(kinda like a postcard with a wintery scene except with icy roads), we got about 5" of snow.
Now (3hrs later) the roads are dry and the snow is almost gone.

Welcome to Colorado!

OK. quick vent.

I shovel the same walks around the government buildings in castle rock EVERY TIME it snows. EVERY TIME. Same sidewalks. every time. Knowing this, why (when it snows) do the employees think it's such a great idea to suddenly BACK THEIR VEHICLES into their parking spots, covering three feet of the sidewalks with the ass end of their cars, and making it essentially impossible to effectively clear the snow they traverse in their g.d. high heels, at which point calling into my boss to bitch?

SERIOUSLY PEOPLE. just park your car normally. You're actually making it a longer hike to the curb when you park backwards. Don't be retards.

to the one lady in the silver volkswagon bug who understands this concept, I thank you.

ahem.

I'm done, carry on.
