I'm in northern AZ and felt my chair go back and forth and the pictures on the wall sway for about a minute. Very weird feeling.

He's fine. Knowing him he probably waved it off as an acid flashback or the US government drilling into the fault lines to ruin the pure culture/government of Mexico.

In my second post, I said it was south of Mexicali, B.C.

You're right, it was actually southeast of Mexicali, closer to Yuma and San Luis, which are towns right on lower basin of the Colorado River.

Baja lives in Baja California Sur.

The quake was in Baja California. Los Angeles area residents are closer to the epic center than Baja is.

Was a pretty good one. First one Ive felt myself in a few years. My soda was inching off my tv tray table, so that was something.

Apparently Yuma, AZ really felt it.

I have folks/ friends up in Havasu City, Yucca Valley, & Hemet. I have no doubts they felt it.

We felt it just north of LA.... pretty mild, just a bit of a continued rolling sensation.

My place in San Diego was shaking for about 30 seconds. No apparent damage was done. I'm from Colorado, so it was the biggest one that I ever felt.

I'm from North Dakota so have no idea what a earthquake feels like...

I went through a solid 7+'er in my days out west a few years back. I was on the 2nd floor of my school when this 400lber was walking across the floor and it shook with each step. I'm not sure where his stepping stopped shaking it and the earthquake picked up.

In summary, for the one I was in, it felt like a fatass making the floor shake. Now ya know.

I was out in the front yard when it started.

My truck was swaying pretty good, the light poles were moving, a little scary.
