View Full Version : Marion Barber on the trading Block?

I think it would be nice to have Barber he could be our pounder and could teach Knowshon a little. Maybe some type of trade for BM, but Dallas might have to be the third team in a trade like that. Just an idea......

Dallas worried about paying Austin and Roy Williams. They would of course have no interest in BM. Barber has a lot of mileage. Not sure he would be worth trading for. He's more a wait another yr till he's cut sign as a vet stop gap type player.

no thanks

What exactly could Knowshon learn from Barber that he won't learn from the coaching staff?

barber i think has been overrated. he was brought in as fresh legs to pound defenses in the 4th quarter. he is a bruising runner, but there is a similar one in every draft.

He's a bruising bench warmer more often than a bruising back these days...pass on Barber.

Still a big Barber fan. Should have been our selection over Clarett all those years ago. Still pissed.

No worries

Montario Hardesty could be a Denver Broncos come draft day
He's a younger version of Barber

Barber is used up, his career is over.

Pass, he wasn't even the man in Dallas towards the end of the season.

I'd love to sign him, but I wouldn't trade for him unless the compensation was extremely low. He's a risk totally worth taking as far as I'm concerned, but this team is too old to spend picks on more veterans.

I'd be happy to sign him, but I wouldn't want to trade for him.

He's getting old and I would be leery about giving too much up for him. We need to build a young core, not trade away picks and get older.

barber hasnt been a bruiser for 2 years. he has gone more toward the elusive type of running once he became the starter and all the backups on dallass team have a mucher higher yards per carry and break a long run on almost every carry he did it once all season. the only reason people still know he exists is he plays behind the best rush offensive lines in the game. if we got him he wouldnt do anything for us

God, Barber was so sick like a few years ago. I still remember that run in the back of the endzone against the Pats, so beastly.

I still have a mancrush on the way he runs, so hard and powerful, I wish there were more backs like him and ADP

i would give a 6th this year and next for him.
