I think a couple of his footballs might be there. For sure I would think the one that tied the record.

But Elam will never make the HOF. Just the way it is. Kickers don't often make HOF.

Jason had to sell part of his soul to McDaniels to get it done. :yayaya:

Yeah, it's fairly common... we re-signed Steve Atwater so he could retire as a Bronco too.

They had some of his stuff there when I went for Elway's induction.

Too bad he couldn't have been a career Bronco but glad he can say he retired as one.

I do not get this, "Sign me for a day so I can be a Bronco crap" If Jason wanted to be a Bronco so bad, he would have stayed with the team and not chased the highest offer right out of town.

I know this will be unpopular, So flame away.

Ever consider the team wanted to move on too? We all love the guy but it's not like he was a monster those last couple years. He lost a lot of range and we had to keep a spare kicker on the roster for kick offs.

Cool deal. The stats show he tied Dempsy's kick, but Jason's was about a half yard longer.....

Although Elam's record breaker will always be his most memorable, his 51-yarder in XXXII might have been the most important kick of his career. It's still the second longest kick in Super Bowl history.

Years ago a family friend of ours daughter use to date Jason (obviously before his current wife now). He wanted to marry her but she wasn't all that in to him so she broke it off. Needless to say it was devistating to her father (big Bronco fan). He kept asking her "Couldn't you love him a little..... just a little bit". I still chuckle remembering that.

All those were absolutely great! I was sitting in the RAM bar/brewery in Seattle for the 63 yarder.

BUT, I will always remember the "TORO! TORO!! TORO!!!"

That might be what I remember Jason for the most...
