depends if he gets hit first 2 yards behind the line, or at the line.

hopefully 1100 yards and 15 TDs.

He'll go over 1000 with a nice YPC average and tandem with Buck and maybe a draft pick. Expect good things.

Arent we the New Denver Patroncos? Has a NE RB ever racked up serious yards or a serious yards per carry average? No, we run occasionally just to keep the 'D' honest, but we are a pass first team. Combine that with the fact he will share the backfield with Buckhalter & the fact that Moreno didnt impress many last season, & I am beginning to think that my vote of giving him a 1000 yds is a bit generous.

im not sold on the pass first thing. reports last year was mcdaniels was trying to build a power running team, obviously with how the line declined that didnt work. this year, we MAY see that. well find out by draft day(s):afro:

He had 947 yards last season, it's not a stretch to think he'll get 53 more yards this year.

Can't we wait to see how we address the Center and Guard positions before this poll?

I think a lot depends on the OL, right now it would be one of (if not the worst) interior OL in the NFL. I think Knowshon will be ready to have a great year, he'll have both knees healthy, be in better physical shape, have a year of NFL experience behind his belt and have a position coach that seems better suited for his skillset.

With all that, last year showed how a porous OL can kill your entire team and unless there's a major upgrade in the talent deptartment he, Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson or any other person not named Peyton Hillis will struggle.

If he is the feature back, I'd say 1,200 with an average between 4.2 and 4.6 (less than 5).

But Buckhalter was pretty good for us last year too.

Obviously the exterior is fine. But I think Kuper is solid. Convinced me last year after we struggled when he went down. We'll see how Olsen performs, and at Center and LG it can't get much worse than what we had from Hamilton and Wiegman last year.

His ypc will be under 5 imo. He'll have plenty of attempts thought and if he stays healthy will go over 1000 yards.

Alot depends on our 2nd RB. They'll either both have success and soften defences up for one another, or they'll both struggle.

If we take Trent Williams in the 1st round, i'll feel a lot better about his prospects.

He should be able to get 1000 yds. Anybody can do that. I don't question that he's a hardworker, great teamplayer but his skillset still seems just above average for me on the NFL level. Please prove me wrong Knowshon.

Yup. Some people just don't understand how important it is to a back to have a hole to run thru, surprising but true some folks just can't understand that.

That's a good point about Adrian Peterson - late last year even Adrian Peterson was struggling to gain yards because the holes weren't there.

Given the way we utilize our backs, I see Knowshon being a guy who will bring ~ 1,250 yards rushing on the ground, with several hundred receiving yards as well. An offensive player who will get you ~ 1,500 yards from scrimmage on a consistent basis with a good share of scores.

I don't think you will ever see him rush for enormous numbers, but be a very solid contributor and leader of our running back corps.

Yah, yards from scrimmage, first downs will be the big deal for Moreno. He'll be a solid, productive back. I like his skills getting positive yardage, I like his skills around the goalline. I figure he'll end up with a solid 10 year career with around 80 + TD's at minimum. Like all backs, his career will depend on how good of an OL and coaching staff he has.

I would say he gets between 1000 and 1100 yards with 8 TD's.
Another 350 yds receiving with 2 TD's.
4.1 YPC average.
He doesn't have the speed to break off the long run to boost his YPC so he isn't going to be near 5.0

What hurts Moreno is that Buckhalter will get about 450 to 700 yards on the ground too. The better he performs the less carries Moreno will get and the less yards.

I'm thinking 1200 yards and 12 TD's should be pretty close, but not at 5+ YPC unless our O-line seriously improves by a substantial amount.

I think the talk aobut our Line being weak is way out of line. Harris and Clady are solid. Kuper is Solid. We spent a 4th on Olson last year and he's a big guy suited for left guard. That leaves us in need of a center. If we get a guard/center in the 2nd/3rd round, we're set.

How is it out of line? They performed terribly as a unit last year, especially in short-yardage and goal line opportunities. We have potential, but definitely can upgrade it.

A second year in the system will help, and a beefier O-Line.
