That MNF game against the Raiders on Sept. 13th sounds perfect if it happens!
What does every else think?

I have season tickets so that game is no problem but cost is going to be a lot higher for those that buy on the open market. I am up for it but lets wait to see what the 2nd game is going to be and vote. Remember, we like cupcake games vs someone like the Colts. I guess most are cupcakes when the Broncos play the Colts.

2003 I think. Was good to hang with you.

I need to get back myself. Between family, work, and the economy, I haven't had a lot extra for travel. But good things are happening for me, so I should be able to make at least one game.

I found a hotel in Akron when I went out for Elway's induction, it was a lot cheaper than anything closer and wasn't much for the drive down the morning of the ceremony, just had to find a place to park in canton, which wasn't that difficult.

stay in independence.........richy south burb of cleveland.......on hotwire you can get a hyatt or better for under 50 a night........its a straight shot down I-77 to the HOF and it only takes about 35 min. plus then you are a lot closer to the CLE airport the next day. If you stayed there, i have to pass it to get to the HOF.......so i could also give you a ride if needed.

According to profootballreference.com, that would be September 12, 2004... a home win (34-24) vs. the Chefs.

September 11, 2005 @ Miami L 34-10

September 10, 2006 @ St. Louis L 18-10

September 9, 2007 @ Buffalo W 15-14

September 8, 2008 @ Oakland W 41-14

September 13, 2009 @ Cincinnati W 12-7

Yeah, we're "due" for a home opener...

In the tailgate lot, it's all "Go Broncos!" and "can I buy you a beer?"... differences of opinion are pretty much "put aside" and the focus is on the things we as fans can all agree on.

i agree 100000%

so if sports is essentially entertainment, at the end of the day, the broncos winning does not affect our life (mood? yes. will life go on? absolutely) why should people be so pessimistic and hateful to the coaching staff of the team they supposedly enjoy? we come to this forum to discuss, have a good time etc, and people focus on negatives all the time. why should being positive only happen when you are around others in person, and not when discussing topics of something that none of us control on a message board?

I'd guess that the "mood" would be a bit more somber after the game if the Broncos lose (don't really know though 'cause they've won every time we've gone to OM Weekend).

As to the forum, the life blood of any message board is diversity of opinion. If everyone agreed on everything and saw all the issues from the same perspective, then there would be nothing to talk about. And we'd all get bored.

feel free to disagree, everyone disagrees with atleast something he has done, but to come on a bronco fan forum and make sure to ruin every single thread because of your manufactured ideas of what he is doing wrong is completely ridiculous. according to your posts, literally EVERYTHING he has ever done is wrong, and the exact opposite of everything he has done is completely right. do you not understand how ridiculous your "stance" is?

he is more qualified to run YOUR team than you are, give the guy more then one season before you whine about everything. if we were jacksonville fans, wed have a reason to be pissed about the coach. after coming off an 8-8 season with the improvements this TEAM saw, you cant complain about ****ing everything yet. and since you choose to, its you being purposely ridiculous because you love the attention.

Ha ha. This might be true. Doesn't really bother me. Any fan with a brain questions what the hell is going on in Denver right now. Doesn't mean we root less for the victory though. Poll 100% of the people skeptical of McD, and it will be unanimous that we hope we're wrong. In three years, i'd love to eat my words on this situation if it meant we were hoisting a few Lombardi trophies.

Not that any of this matters in regards to you. I've been to a few of these events on several occations. Have you? All of the posters on here, some that I don't necessarily agree with, are great people and I respect their opinion even if we clash on management of the team. Guys like Meck and a few others. Can't say the same for you though.

Ha ha. This might be true. Doesn't really bother me. Any fan with a brain questions what the hell is going on in Denver right now. Doesn't mean we root less for the victory though. Poll 100% of the people skeptical of McD, and it will be unanimous that we hope we're wrong. i wouldnt say 100%.

theres so much research on how being positive helps people live a happy, healthy and successful life as compared to being negative. im completely sure that this includes people who go on to football message boards STEAMING because something happened that none of us can control that they dont agree with.

i went to a game last year and hung out with TGN and IBOB, dont remember it all though. you are one of the biggest haters and whiners on this forum and CONSTANTLY get into arguments with several people at once who are constantly proving you wrong, yet you say you dont respect my opinion as if it matters...

ps, there is a difference between being skeptical (ie not sure what to think, not sure how mcdaniels will turn out, question his moves) and having made your mind up that he is a failure after one year on the job.

so extreme negativity and ridiculous is alright on a message board because its his "opinion" but in person he changes 100% to full out bronco lover lookin to have a great time

one of those two is fake...

No... it's not "fake". Putting aside differences for a weekend in order to focus on areas of agreement is something adults do all the time. I may not agree with every other Bronco fan in the tailgate lot regarding every single decision McDaniels makes, but I can guarantee you that we all want the Broncos to win the game that day. So we'll share some good food, a beverage or two, and some great conversation... before and after what we hope will be a great game ending with a "W" for the Broncos in the win/loss column.

Awesome. You hung out with two posters. Good times.

Thanks for the psycho-analysis on personalities. I'm sure your mental-stability is great. Didn't you just have your account suspended not too long ago? LMAO.

I'm not a hater or a whiner. I just call something what it is, which is the exact situation with McD. He can still grow as a coach but as of right now, he's pretty immature. That's probably why you like him. You're very similar in that aspect.

On that note, since i'm not going to be able to attend, this will be my final post in this thread. Hope everybody has fun. Drink a beer for me!

Yep... especially beer. A wise man once told me the quickest way for a tailgate to start to suck is to run out of beer. :~ohyah!:

Just make sure all you losers are out of the lot about 5 minutes before game time, so I don't hit one of you and mess up the rims on the Benz

How in the hell can you turn a feel good thread about a tailgate into a contentious thread about someone's character?

Get out of this thread. You don't belong in it. This isn't a thread for you to prove your point. It's for planning a party.

You tell them TJ! !Booya!:twokisses:welcome:

Can I clean your windsheild for some of the chump change (anything lower than a C note) floating around in your pockets?

My God yes....just give it a rest tsi, you come off like more of a douche by trying to prove your point in a thread like this

the way I see it, you'd be the one bringing up BS at a tailgate

grow up

The class to call out a poster in his BDay thread was pretty low also.

i dont think anyone would want you there, all you would do is cry about how mcdaniels destroyed the team and we need cutler back, how could you possibly enjoy the game or enlighten the mood of those around you?

or does all this hater talk end at the forum? in which case it would truly be a forum "mask" and that you dont truly feel the way about mcdaniels that you claim to, you do it for attention purposes.

He's definately one of the "chosen ones" who are not welcome at my table. (BF7, dragster, bpc, jhns, lex, yavoon and 24champ).

I'd rather entertain the Black and silver brigade (on a cold day in hell) than to lift a finger for any of those clowns.

He was on with with the dude who did Borat so I think he would at least consider if I distracted him with praise for his paper on docking spacecraft.

Now Neil would be the hard one, he hardly does any press/midget dancing...in public...that I know of.
