I keep hearing from my Jets sources that they’re having internal discussions regarding Brandon Marshall and would love to put together a package of players that might entice the Broncos and still keep their first-round pick.

Just noticed that s0phr0syne posted this earlier in the "Zach Thomas..." thread. Apologies.

David Harris, Leon Washington, Dwight Lowery should do the trick.

Yeah, that's about right. No way we are getting Harris plus anything else. I would LOVE if this happened, but I don't see it happening. The Jets would be crazy to trade Harris.

Actually this is probly the most realistic one so far. Any trade for for Marshall had better include Harris, period.

I'd take Mangold and a pick as well or just Harris is fine with me.

Don't they already have Braylon Edwards? I don't like the fact we would be making a good team that much better and I really don't think that they would give up Harris.

Mangold is a pro bowler, and the best young center in the NFL. I'd take him or Harris straight up for BMarsh. They are both worth a first.

You need to go to the TheDave school of make believe trades on the OM.

No shi*. Our best offensive player for their 3rd best defensive player. Horrible idea. I wouldn't mind having Harris, but not just Harris for BM.

If the Jest don't want to pony up their number one this year, they can offer up the #2 and #3 and their 2011 #1.

Maybe Cotchery as well.

I think Cotchery is one of the most underrated receivers in the league.

He has the ability make great plays while also running smooth routes and playing through traditional bumps and bruises.

RT @judybattista: One more Jets tidbit: I'm told that the rumors about them going after Brandon Marshall "have no legs."

Wouldn't mind Cotchery working into this somehow...watched him at NC State and he's a good "working man's" wide reciever a'la Rod Smith. Well-studied, classy, very hard worker.

Also, him and Philip Rivers were good friends (and a hell of an on-field tandem)....you know Cotchery would be looking to blow-it-up against SD twice a year!

hes their 2nd best player on defense. not sure what the hell that has to do with anything. would you rather have detroits best player on defense?

I just love the "baby TO" moniker. It's so true... an equal pain in the ass at a fraction of the production. And just like a baby, he is a constant threat to his own life without direct adult supervision. How cute is that?

Revis and Jenkins if you ask me. And I know that Marshall is a head case, but he is far too valuable to let go for just Harris. We are talking about a top 5 WR and our offense stunk last year, remove Marshall and it will be worse.

If the Jets were somehow actually stupid enough to offer up just Harris for Marshall (they aren't by the way) we should get down on our knees and thank the heavens for the amazing oppertunity that has come our way, then take the trade, and run like hell before they change their minds.

I would even give Marshall and a 6th for Harris.

Revis might possibly be the best defensive player in the game today, at a premium position. There is no way in hell the Jets would consider trading him for any player or combination of players on our team.

I wasn't suggesting that the Jets trade Revis, I was stating that he is their best Defensive player and that I consider Jenkins to be their 2nd best. I was discussing with another poster that Harris is their 3rd best defensive player. While I think Brandon is a pain in the a** I don't want to give him away. He is a top 5 WR in this league and I wouldn't trade him for D Harris. We are okay at LB without Harris, we would be piss poor at WR without Marshall.

Hate to burst your bubble but after 4 years he smokes Owens in receptions and yards.
