Of the 5-6 teams I think have a legit shot at the title, I think Kansas wins. I have no positive feelings whatsover for them, but they are the most experienced and balanced team of those who have a shot.

Will a mod or a smart person please make this a poll?

Syracuse. They're just as balanced as Kansas, but have 2 good big men, not just 1. Also have 2 great players off the bench in Scoop Jardine and Kris Joseph. Those 2 would start for most other schools. If Not the Cuse, I think Kentucky will win it.

Jefferson community college will take it all, mark it down.

Gotta go with Rock Chalk. After the loss to Oklahoma State they've really shifted into ass-kicking mode. Didn't think they lived up to the pre-season hype early on, but they've clearly become the best team since then IMO.

ARIZONA WILDCATS BABY! YEAAH!!! WOOT! LET'S GO LUTE, TAKE US TO THE PROMISED LAND!!!

....

What? Lute is retired? Saywhatnow? The Cats aren't even in the tourney? That's impossible, we've been in the tourney for like 25 straight years! Haha, yeah, like we're really NOT in the NCAA tourney. Pshaw.

i see they put both Tenn and Okla State in Ku's bracket.. that seems a little odd?

Wow if KU wins it they are going to have to earn it. Midwest bracket is tough (Michigan St, Ohio St, Georgetown, Tennessee).

Syracuse doesnt have a killer instinct and lets leaser talent hang with them. And while they play very well as a team, they dont have a real stud to take over a close game. While I am pulling for the Orange, I dont see them past the Elite 8.

I'm taking 'Cuse tentatively, I won't finish by bracket until Wednesday because I want to hear how Onuaku practices.

Cuse could win it but I personally dont think they are going to beat KState.

Syracuse cannot beat a hot 3 point shooting team and KState has 3 guys that can light it up from 3. They play serious on-ball defense and in transition there is not a better spot up 3 point shooter than Denis Clemente.

Kentucky too could win it all, they are awfully young though and they have really struggled against teams that wont even be in the tournament (twice taken to OT by Miss State, lost to South Carolina, needed a buzzer beater to beat Miami OHIO).

Both of these teams have incredible talent though and can win it all.

Wow if KU wins it they are going to have to earn it. Midwest bracket is tough (Michigan St, Ohio St, Georgetown, Tennessee).

When I first saw the bracket I thought so too but looking at it, the brutal part of that bracket is in the bottom half of which, if KU makes the Elite 8, will only have to play one of those. At that point, everyone is playing tough competition so thats a wash.

Michigan State is beat up, banged up and no where near as good as they were last year when they needed a miracle comeback to beat KU in the Sweet 16. Kansas is about 10 times better this year than last year. Love Izzo, awesome coach, great dude but they dfont have the guns.

Maryland has one go-to guy in Vasquez who is a bonafide stud but its going to take more than that to beat KU.

I am looking at Georgetown as a potential upset over KU though. Monroe is a nasty center and they got a couple of guards who can really hoop. When GTown is on, they shoot in the 60-70% range and its hard as hell to beat a team shooting that good. Their biggest problem is that while they can beat anyone they can lose to anyone. This is a team that lost to South Florida AND Rutgers, AT GEORGETOWN. They also clobbered Duke by 30 so you see the Jekyll and Hyde nature of the team.

Ohio State has the best player in the nation in Evan Turner and Okie State has arguably the best 2 guard in the nation. That bottom part of the midwest is nasty.

Duke looks like they get the easiest road except for the fact that they potentially have to beat two consecutive Texas teams in HOUSTON. A&M in the Sweet 16 and possibly Baylor (who can beat Nova) in the Elite 8 IF they get past A&M.

I think Duke, like most years in the recent tournament history, will flame out early.

Kentucky has a potential scary matchup in round 2. Texas flamed out after reaching #1 but everyone knows they have the talent. Their coaching sucks but I'd love to see the 2nd round matchup of Pittman vs Cousins, Patterson vs James, Wall against the defending guards of Texas. UK should win that game but if Texas can find their groove that they had earlier in the season, they will give UK fits.
