View Full Version : How I Hope the Draft Goes

Marshall stays on for his tendered one year. Goes UFA next year and we get a 3rd round comp pick next year for his leaving (One of the reasons I don't think the broncos would trade him for say a 2nd and 4th this year).

First round starts out as:

1. Rams Bradford
2. Lions Suh
3. Bucs McCoy
4. Wash Okung
5. Chiefs Berry
6. Seahawks Clausen
7. Browns Haden
8. Raiders Campbell
9. Bills Bulaga
10. Jags Derrick Morgan
11. *Trade Steelers give #18 and 52 for 11 Dan Williams or McClain
Analysis - McClain, Williams and Bryant still on the board. The Broncos trade down with someone to acquire an extra 2nd rounder.

18. Broncos Jared Odrick, DE - We added two DE in free agency. This allows Odrick to learn behind the vets
45 - Spikes, ILB - With the release of Andra Davis, ILB is now a hole. Wesley Woodyard is not good enough to start
52 Vladimir Ducasse, OG - added beef to the interior line
80 Cam Thomas, NT - Thomas can learn behind Williams and Fields and get valuable experience before stepping into a more prominent role in the future.
114 Eric Olsen, C - I fully expect us to pick up a veteran center in FA (Mawae?), Olsen can sit a year and start next.
185 John skelton, QB - might not be here, but we will probably draft a QB in rds 3-6
218 Freddie Barnes, WR - Good value here if still around.

Cam Thomas lasting to #80 is about as realistic is my butt erupting lava in twelve minutes.

What's the verdict Req?

That is why I labeled this thread how I hope the draft goes :P

Other than that what do you think? I think rounds 1 and 2 could potentially happen. Though Spikes might not be there in the 2nd.

Why not take Bradford in the 2nd and CJ Spiller in the 5th? I hope it goes that way.
