and you'll still sit down and watch them every time they come up.

I'm a fan of gangster movies. Good Fellas, Casino, Godfather... if they're on, I'll sit down and watch them again, even though I can pretty much recite the dialogue. Any Clint Eastwood movie. I'll watch it again. Blade Runner. Any Coen Bros film. Some of these films are like old friends.

I'm the I hate the classics guy ... Like all my friends rag me for hating most iconic movies and music so my list may be odd.

Like I was born in 75' and hate and can't sit all the way through or refuse to watch most the stuff all my peers love. Here as a example I have for the most part never seen E.T. , Brave Heart , Miracle on Whatever Street it Was, Fight Club (which I have seen over two different sittings and has to be TO ME in MY OPINION the worst movie of all time that is hailed with a cult following).

But name a movie everyone loved and I being the bitter @$$hole that I am most likely hate it... It's not you it's me hehehhe.

But ...

Goodfellas is what I normally list as my fav movie of all time so it for starters and at least one of mine fits in with a crowd.

Seen Christine 100 time I bet. Something I watched a lot when I was little.

Gump , Which I love and is my yea I'm a puss , sue me movie ..

A Perfect World , with Eastwood and Costner I've seen loads and is my number one in the under rated class.

A Christmas Story , Which everyone had ragged me for a decade because I hadn't watched it ... and I gave in and loved it... Now I find myself watching the darn thing 6 or so times on Xmas when that one TV chan does the 24 hours of a Christmas Story... It just never gets old...
It's my you can teach a old dog new tricks movie .

Christmas Vacation , I'm a sucker for Xmas as I get older what can I say, But I'm not sitting through those crap black n white ones like Miracle on whatever street and It's a Wonderful Life...

All the Vacation movies tho I can lump together.

Anything with Kate Beckinsale ... I could watch Pearl Harbor muted all day, unmuting when she talks.... and it's on like every night on one of the movie channels ... Basically anything she talks in , accent or no accent ...

My stoner side has seen Pink Floyd The Wall like 2342355456 times. I also seen Up in Smoke a time or hundred.

My rain man football loving side has seen a few football games over and over as stupid as that is .... I bet I've seen the full game of the 85 Bears Super Bowl win and our two title wins at least 20 times... With Johns first win and the Bears game being just watched over and over the first week after they happened.

And a lot of others already listed that are just stuff we all sit through every time we see it on... Even if they aren't great ,this thread aint really about them tho.

I think most of mine have been named, except I didn't see Spartacus on anyone's list. Maybe I missed it. Also really liked What Dreams May Come.

The only movies I can think of that I've seen over and over again are:

Heat
Fight Club
Tommy Boy
Happy Gilmore
Godfather I and II
Star Wars (original 3)
Scarface

I'm sure there are more, but those are the absolute classics.

and you'll still sit down and watch them every time they come up.

I've lost count of all the times I've watched Fellowship of the Ring when it first came out.

Most John Wayne Westerns for me. Hell, most Westerns in general. Love Saturday mornings on AMC.:charge:

The Longest Day, The Green Berets, In Harms' Way and The Quiet Man are all excellent and sit me down.

I'm just waiting for the bluray to come out next year. ;D

I watch it once a year. Extended version. All three movies. I call in LOTR Day.

Outside the numerous ones already mentioned:

The Bank Dick
It's A Gift
You Can't Cheat An Honest Man
Never Give A Sucker An Even Break

W.C. Fields was and remains one of the funniest men whom ever lived.

Recent reports say that you might be waiting until 2012 for the extended versions on blu ray.

I can't not watch Hunt for Red October and Tombstone whenever I see them on TV. Same goes for Spy Game too (though it's not in "twenty times" territory yet).

They aren't necessarily some of my all-time faves, but for some reason, they're conducive to watching over.

From the classics, I've seen Lawrence of Arabia, Ben Hur, Doctor Zhivago, and more recently Das Boot dozens of times each.

Also, Airplane, Airplane II, Spaceballs, any Monty Python.

Not to mention kids movies/musicals.

Fight Club. I had that film on a loop for a week strait.

Naturally the Star Wars films too.

Indiana Jones and Lord of the Rings might be close to 20.

The Alien and Predator films could be near it as well too (note: not the AvP films - they were ****).
