Wow. He will get tons of offers though. Maybe an outside chance though who knows.

Dumerville and Peppers off the ends would be pretty scary. Probably not really good in coverage though. If they went after peppers that would probably mean Doom is tagged and traded.

I think we have enough DE's turned LBs for now.

Shoot, man. Doom needs help on the other end & Ayers is still a big question mark. Peppers is plenty big & athletic enough to complement him on the other end

Doom does need help, we agree there

Ayers being a "big question mark" is a touch drastic, seeing that you know...he has played one NFL season

it certainly won't help his development to take him off the field and overpay for Peppers

What about Peppers as a DE in the 3-4 with Ayers and Doom as the OLB's?

Sounds good on paper.. but I think Peppers stated he didn't want to play DE in a 3-4 scheme. Don't quote me on that though....

Maybe Miami?

With Porter gone and Taylor hurt, he could be well used in Miami.

This is, coupled with his sub-par rookie campaign, is, you know, what makes him a huge question mark.

the guy wants Haynesworth money, and he is not anywhere near deserving of that kind of cash at this point in his career

I don't think you can call it a sub-par year when a guy who was well known to be a project is getting major rotation as a rookie.

Sure I can. I just did. Because that's what his season was.

Sure I can. I just did. You'd be wrong too.

Because that's what his season was. I'm sure NFL front office types would tell you different.

He said she said. Not interested in listening to your agenda.

Get back to me when all your NFL front office contacts start asking you for your esteemed opinion.

so in your opinion, we should give up on a first round draft pick and stunt his development for an expensive replacement?

gotcha....sounds smart

Makes sense considering it's a position of need and they don't have to pay any 2010 draft picks. Lots of money to burn.
