Yes i meant reggie bush, not the george bush. But with his role play, is he worth the 8 mill salary. I am sure they can find a similar role player like reggie for lot lesser salary. Do you think he is worth that kind of money ?

Seattle would probably offer him that if the Saints let him go. Not worth it IMO.

he improved this year
but he is still a scat back who has durability concerns

Did he ever settle that lawsuit?

If the Saints let him go they won't be back in the SB next year.

No one is dude worth anything close to that. If his draft were held again with hindsight, I can't imagine dude going higher than the third round.

He just isn't special. He was a great college back because he was faster and quicker than most of the scrubs he played against. Now he isn't.

I'd only pick him up as a return specialist.

You can get Joe McKnight in the draft for cheaper, and he pretty much is the exact clone of Bush.

In Madden 10, if you trade for Bush and convert him to WR, he's rated 90.

That is the entire extent to which I care about Reggie Bush.

He's allready had microfracture, altho it appears successfull, he's one more knee njury from the glue factory.

The saints could draft Javis Best in the first round or Ryan Mathews in the second round. I think Bush will be let go.

Yeah, Reggie Bush was a key component to their team. If they let Reggie go, there is NO way they can make it back, not without Reggie.

Reggie is a huge impact on this team if he's gone - the team will be set back 10 years if he's gone.

Bush is vital to this team's success. If he stays on the team, they will back it back to the super bowl. :spit:

I see school is out. They talked about it yesterday on PTI. It's not about Bush and his stats, it's more about the match ups that he allows Payton to create. It's not going to be easy for them to repeat in the first place. I just don't think people get the value of Bush in that system.

school is out? :spit: <--- how do you think you look when you're completely wrong about assumptions like this?

That's cool man - you're using PTI as a reference to your argument.

Everyone knows what his role is on that team and that's to create match up problems - the issue is if a team will essentially invest that much in a "decoy."

The team moves the ball fine without him (he did have a few key 3rd down receptions though in the SB).

Bush is not an impact player - he's simply a match up player. You don't need a Reggie Bush type player to be successful on offense, he's sort of like the cherry on top that makes it easier in the end.

Saints would have to find different ways to move the ball if Bush is not there, and Bush is not exactly a KEY component to make that offense tick.

It's hard to give Bush a big contract with his stats to begin with...

Yeah my bad bringing PTI into anything. I should be like you and bring up news paper articles or links to message boards that discuss us hiring Don Capers as our DC. Those guys working for PTI have nothing on...... Justin Spiers, Billy Spiers, Blake Myers, Harry Mitchell, and Frank Velasquez from Modesto. ROFL!

lol @ your dumbass.

Firstly, you're mad at that "modesto" thing because I had essentially proved you and the other flock that is stuck in 1998 wrong. I used them not as a basis of opinion or analysis, but just the matter of event(s) that happened.

You're PTI situation, is not the same case. You're using PTI as your reference of someone's opinion/analysis.

Nothing is wrong with PTI - they're great for arguments sake (always playing devil's advocate), but the fact that you had to reference them for something so obvious let's me know you're a real dumbass. LOL

lol I also find it funny you're more worried about that one line of PTI reference than anything else.

You're officially my little b1tch.

This was being talked about long before the SB and I think the SB win upped his salary due to escalators. He won't be back for that and I am sure he will restructure because I doubt he makes that on open market.

Moreno Bush Buckhalter.

more speed never hurts, remember the game he had against us?

The only thing that Bush brings to the table is that Kardashian chick. He's not much of a football player.

There are alot of fresh legged college players w/speed without bad knees that just need experience for cheap..

from what i understand, saints might actually pay up to keep him.

I'd only entertain having Bush on the roster if my team was an artificial surface team. Put him on a slower track and he's not worth it, period.

If he left NO, the only place I could see him doing really well is Philly, and they already have McCoy waiting in the wings.
